  1. I ordered it from Ropetek, Paul Cox is the also the guy behind the Wraptor. And he's English! Just email [email protected] and get it done. $180 inc postage. I'm hoping it will be posted tomorrow so next week I hope. I'll be putting a thread and review on here as soon as I've got two climbs on it.
  2. Yeah mate, it can get expensive quick but, it's shiny!!!
  3. Rope Wrench was mentioned above. I'm selling mine, barely used if you want it. Make me an offer and it's yours, with tether.
  4. Not me, not my video but I just loved the dude in PPE at 9.30!:lol::lol
  5. You're exactly right and that's the reason a SJ or LJ is so much better as they really do self tend and there is no sit back at all. On the other hand, have you considered SRT? I've just ordered a Hitch Hiker, Woohoo! Anyone want to buy a hardly used Role Wrench?
  6. Are you using a cambium saver of some sort?
  7. Chris, as you've aimed the question at employees I'll keep out of it otherwise it turns into another bun fight, like the recent 'rates of pay' thread. 😂😂😂
  8. Go for one spliced eye. If you have a 20m I would advise a 45m, despite what you said.
  9. $160 plus $20 postage. Awesome.
  10. There are no disadvantages to a Spiderjack, except you can't attach it mid line. If that worried you then get a Lockjack. Great climbing aids.
  11. Frankly, if people want to jump on the band wagon and have accidents, I couldn't care less. What I do care about is all the idiots jumping on the band wagon and depriving all the Pro firms of work. It's bad enough already in a saturated market, further stressed by all the cowboys and gypos. The '87 & '89 hurricanes got all the morons out with chainsaws, this won't be a great deal different, although on a smaller scale.
  12. What do you mean it's your last travelling adventure? Have you found a permanent job?
  13. Never mind seeing the rest of the gear. I'm assuming it should all be chucked in the skip and the user gets put on the naughty step.
  14. I don't know but it might be worth calling your nearest Stumpbusters franchise and asking what size machines he has.
  15. Am i looking at that correctly? Has the thin area been worn away by the Grillon? If so, can we see that part of the Grillon? If that is correct, the climber was INSANE to keep climbing on that. I'm sorry but that is just grossly incompetent and I wouldn't have someone like that in my company. Thanks for posting this though as these 'alerts' are always good thing. 👍
  16. Now. Mine is on its way. Just email Ropetek to order.
  17. I dunno about the lever. I'm just squeezing the Cinch to get it to release.
  18. Cool Adam. I would do something to stiffen the top of the tether as that will stop the RW flopping down so much. Also, I used to use a length of eye2eye but changed to tieing my own knots because I can make the hitch shorter and get less sit back.
  19. I would recommend that you buy my Rope Wrench, it's a few months old and not abused.
  20. Lets have a photo Adam.
  21. Sounds good. I look forward to seeing that. 👍
  22. I've used the fixed funnel type on rental machines. It was ok if the chipper was on a steep slope, hopper pointing uphill.
  23. Windsor! Just pm me anytime and I'll be there.
  24. It does the same job as a Grillon and a Cinch and sits between them in terms of size and price. I just bought a Cinch as its smaller and cheaper than the other two.
  25. You should change your name to YogiTheBeaver
