Eggs, Quite seriously, I do, and I have stopped and offered/provided help to stranded motorists, etc. etc. But the behavouir we have observed is not easily misunderstood. Like one neighbour, that had got several quantities of jam, turned up at our back door one afternoon, clutching a 6-pack of eggs(they sell eggs, or did then ), spoke to me about sommat, did not return any pots, and left still clutching the 6-pack of eggs? Was I meant to offer him money for the eggs? That particular incident has perplexed me ever since. Another neighbour did bring round eggs, but only by way of an apology for near shooting me with a .243!

On the other hand since the wife started growing fruit, then buying sugar at retail prices, buying jampots(40p each, at the pallet rate or £600/£700.00 for the pallet, which we paid), tending the garden, picking the fruit, and lovingly making superb "organic" jam. And only asked for the pots back, in return. Over about 10 years experience. (i) Most people cant even be arsed to return the pots, at all. (ii)Most of those that return the pots are too lazy to remove the labels and wash them out properly. We have got some quite disgusting boxes/bags of stinking pots, from some surprisingly "well bred/middle class" people too. Literally only 1 or 2 people return the pots clean, and one of them is an Aunt, the other is a farmers wife. It does make us wonder. mth

So why did they not take the vehicle to a more suitable location? Since per their lack of protective gear or specialist personell, no hazards were/are present. NOPE Simply fuck the driving public about quite needlessly. IMHO!

P.S. Just to add, with no malice toward Krpan intended, BUT I can only presume Krpan knowingly save pennies on stuff like the quality of the hydraulic ram plating, as mine from relatively early days started pitting, mostly due to the valve block leaking and allowing the ram to lower itself under the pull of gravity. It has however ALWAYS been stored under cover. mth

I fear BoJo is far too clever(quite literally and as evidenced by his academic prowess) for his own good as in he never required to knuckle down or kow-tow to succeed, it all came so natural and easy, so gifted but shallow or easily distracted. Or so gifted as to not give a fuck.

In my ignorance, but kinda understanding how 1st World Militaries probably/almost certinly work, I would presume the aircraft's 10 minute availability was down to "SOP's" i.e. Standard Operating Plan's, kicking in. As a result of pre-set conflict triggers being tripped and setting preset plans in motion..

On the other hand Eggs, and I am not suggesting you do it, but since we built ourselves a right big slap of a house in its own field(no fancy motors though) I have noted that some tradespersons choose to adjust their prices to what they mug/imagine market will bear, based on their subjective client wealth assumptions. Our first experience of this was a window cleaner, who should have been a multi millionaire at his effective hourly rate. 2nd was the bloke that hung the wallpaper. There have been a few others, though in all honesty remarkedly few. But it means some of the wealthy have got burned or heard the stories, and are therefore defensive. A bit like a nervous apprehensive dog being more likely to bite.

P.S. I read an earlier account of this same Court Case, in which the Cyclist was described as a proper "Oik", with accredited online boasts of his reckless cycling prowess as a courier, and his use of a "fixie" is it the fixed wheel bicycle with no front brake etc etc., etc etc.

Meh! Yea, she is a greedy scheming undeserving bitch, BUT, it makes the point that Cyclists are accountable and can be held accountable and therefore require insurance. Unless they are members of the great unwashed, an ha'nay the nails to scrape themselves. Then we, the always accountable, heavily insured and even heavier taxed middle class, will, as always, pay for everbodies grossly magnified misfortunes.

Enjoying the longest day, Senior Management, being exactly 1 week post a replacement hip(on top of 2 knees and the other hip being replaced, & next they start on superstructure joints) "bunged" a chicken in the oven this morning. While I walked the dawgs. I then manfully heated the peas, with the help of Propane, and the perfectly fluffy mashed Navan spuds, with the help of NIE, so with lashing of home made Redcurrent jelly, butter and the chicken gravy, all washed down with Brew Dog's IPA followed by a 1/2 bottle of 2014 vintage Baron De Ley red wine; SIGH & Burp! Life is PROPER good! And the Sun is still shining. However, the downside. The draught Guinness at 16:00 Hrs will not now seem so attractive. BUT! I shall endeavour to persevere. Wish me luck.

After a week or 2, or 3 of middling enough weather, today is achingly gloriously brilliantly brightly sunny! Here in Nth Co. Antrim at least.
