  1. Unfortunately your attitude is becoming more widespread due mainly to being drip fed by the media that people on benefits are all scroungers as i stated there are those who don't want work and in my opinion should have all benefits stopped no question BUT i believe that the vast majority would love a full time job even on the min wage, your tar everyone with the same brush attitude is frankly cruel/ignorant/and offensive, i reiterate what i said before WHAT jobs are they supposed to go after that in the main part don't exist, i suggest you stop believing all you read in the papers and other media and have the balls to think for yourself:thumbdown:
  2. Hi Jon unfortunately not everyone has Silkys skills, there are very few unskilled vacancies about, with the added competition from more foreigners coming to the uk the dream of a Real job for the unemployed indiginess population becomes just that a Dream, sad but true.
  3. Great news, you can relax now, take it easy and have a great Christmas, you deserve it.
  4. I fully agree with your sentiments, and if it was me in that situation i would probably do the same, but the reality of the situation is that there are thousands if not millions of people on JSA being forced to do workfare for their benefits when all they really want is a real job so they can feel like a useful member of society, the generally held belief that people on benefits are all scroungers is misinformed certainly there will be some but i believe the vast majority would do anything to get work, the sad fact of the matter is there is just not enough jobs to go around, allowing more foreigners into the country somehow doesn't seem to be the answer IMHO.
  5. problem is that there are hundreds of thousands of them coming here when the job situation is dire, there are hundreds of thousands of british people on job seekers allowance desperate for work but cant find any, the sums dont add up, there is simply not enough jobs to go round:confused1:
  6. There no need to be racist, what i wrote was people are afraid of speaking up for fear of being branded as racist, in my town there are thousands of unemployed that are desperate to find work, but there is hardly any jobs available , i dont see the point or fairness in giving work to foreigners, if that is being racist then so be it, if there was plenty of work about that would be different but there isnt.
  7. Problem is as i see it a lot of people fear being labeled as RACIST and therefore are frightened to say what they are really thinking:thumbdown:
  8. the blue book was from her majesty's stationary office and was mandatory enforced by the HSE, if you got a site visit and it wasn't upto date you and your employer were in trouble, also if they found a dangerous defect they issued a prohibition order on the machine and it couldn't be used again until it was rectified and reinspected, iv had one or two early finishes due to this LoL. sean
  9. when i was driving plant you had to fill in a blue book everyday with defects and sign it, if in your opinion the machine wasn't safe to operate you refused to drive it! in addition any machine that could be used as a crane ie digger had to have the SWL displayed on the boom and had to be inspected by an independent engineer every 12 monthes and this was over 10 yrs ago!
  10. Out of interest, how do you know he has spent many years climbing up trees on a ladder with a chainsaw and ignoring the rules? I can't see any reference to this at all. This is quite important to know as you state he has saved many thousands over the years... but you can only know that if you know how many jobs he has done like this. If this is the only job, then he stood to perhaps save himself, or the customer, something like £150. Just wondering. Exactly my thorghts entirely.
  11. where dose it state he has done this before?? im sorry but you come across as a gov employed jobsworth, (no insult intended) imho BULLSHIT!
  12. We have all seen the little signs on lamp posts telling us that if our dogs Sh$t in the street we will be fined up to a max of £1000, how many times have you heard of anyone getting the max fine? £6000 is well over the top if you ask me,just big brother and bullshit.
