  1. Granted so why would you defend Thatcher??
  2. I could'nt agree with you more, but the reason for the hateful society and selfishness & greed can be attributed directly with thatcherism:thumbdown:
  3. No your right but you must admit that to get to number one takes thousands of money votes which shows the amount of ill feeling there is about the savage women, just call it the silent majority
  4. there speaks a man and i use the term "man" very loosely who has very little life experience, i would challenge him to walk into a mining community where they lost thier homes & sometimes their sons/husbands to suicide, and voice his pathetic views, im sure you would get your mind changed for you:thumbdown:
  5. Under Thatcher unemployment rose from approx 1.4m to well over 3m she did not care:thumbdown: the unions were to militant i agree but where are we now people frightened to speak up for their rights ie working overtime for no extra pay,Blairs government was just a watered down Tory Government, IMO thatcher screwed this country she was only interested in the rich for which i have no respect for her, im not on my own Ding Dong The Witch Is Dead is near the top of the music charts that means thousands of people must have bought the record!
  6. Like i said there were those affected and those unaffected you were obviously in the latter group!
  7. I think this whole thread just goes to prove that Thatchers policy of divide and conquer worked just as it was designed to do ie. Pro Thatcher = people unaffected By her cruel policy's anti Thatcher = people directly affected by her cruel policy's a classic case of im all right jack what a sad selfish country we now live in!
  8. i agree Skyhuck its the same as all benefit claimants being labeled scroungers these attitudes are from brain washed gobshites:thumbdown:
  9. The most common probs with rechargeable drills are failed batteries, they are really easy and cheap to recondition see the link. How to repair the battery pack in a power tool
  10. this is very very true, yet the working poor fall for it every time, without thinking they themselves are only a car accident or illness away from being on benefits themselves.
  11. i agree 500% with Pete, others are just spoon fed retards
  12. That is spot on
  13. So So true John, the problem is some folk just believe what they are spoon fed by the government who just what to divide public opinion, but some folk are just born Thick and cant be educated or use their own brains but i suppose you can't polish a Turd
  14. i am so sorry, i offer my profound apologies for daring to breath:sleep:
  15. what do you think? Firewood logs corewood | eBay
  16.
  17. LOL v.funny
  18. take a look. BBC News - Norway's NRK broadcasts 12-hour wood burning programme
  19. I agree, before it became the norm for women to work and then a necessity there were far fewer social problems ie drugs/juvenile crime ect, being a housewife and mother is a full time job if done correctly not neanderthal just a Fact.
  20. Unfortunately Dadio over here in the UK we live in a nanny state and have been brainwashed into becoming overly risk averse, we cut conker trees down just in case a conker should land on a kids head:blushing: so its become our culture to frown upon anything that's not in the rule book regardless of experience and common sense much in the same way we don't like to talk about immigrants for fear of being branded racists, we are told what to think and what to say, nice vid by the way, Sean.
  21. i fully agree:thumbup:
  22. Chorley Lancashre.
  23. Andy, thanks for your understanding i am in no way trying to defend dole dossers i have no time for them myself at all period, but the fact of the matter is that a lot of the unemployed in my area are genuinely desperate for work and cannot get any because of the competition from foreigners which may sound racist, speaking for myself i became unemployed 10yrs ago due to being diagnosed with type 1 diabetes plus other serious health conditions after 25years as a machine driver i lost all my licences 11 categories plus my car driving licence, despite this we helped my eldest son through uni and he attaned 1st class HONS Degree and as a result got his first job after graduation @ 30k pa my youngest son was not academic and works for a well known auto fast fit company, my problem is that people driven by what they read/hear in the media get a distorted veiw of the true reality of the situation
  24. lets be honest all TM work was a doddle,+ loads of overtime:thumbup:
  25. Thing is Andy i know that there are those that don't want work watching TV all day ect and nobody would condemn them more than me ie stop all there benefits, in my neck of the wood your stated (I've done my share of crap jobs)i can guarantee you would have prob 50 applicants for each crap job, sad but true, dont tar all with the same brush.
