Less than nothing to be honest , it's sappy , gooey and horrible , well dried planks are fairly valuable , get what you can as quick as you can !

Hi all started these today 6 , 1.1m by 3' dia pop logs hollowing them out , then making few slits in the sides and a round hole at the top capped with frosted perspex , the idea is they will sit on the dance floor /bar area to let light out and to sit your drink on ?? Also I'm hollowing the back of 8 quarters and cut slits in to let light out that will sit in the corners around the night club, It's the club owners idea not mine by the way , anyway I will keep pics coming ! I got the same thing today in my new boots , but there a plastic material which won't allow my feet to Breath so I just put I down to heat and sweat as they do not itch ?? ( or in your case you could just be loopy )

Elg my advice is straight fell keep it as long as possible paint the ends keep it two years turn it 90 degrees every 6 month then plank it , or use the branch unions for turning bowls a tree that size there will be load of them , yew

Turned bowls out of it you need the bits where all the branches meet in the stem it turned beautifully all the dots meet if you do it right and I haven't used any planks yet I have 3 8' long about 2' dia to mill soon I'm guessing itl be great itl have red dots all the way down the planks
