  1. Since the introduction of the internet there has been a noticable decline in the availabilty of Hedge Porn. Such a shame!
  2. Ps serve with anything you fancy!
  3. Don't over cook them, ideally wanna cook lumps on a kebab over barby or chargrill. Cook them Medium otherwise it's chewy !! Still chewy medium tbh lol
  4. I normally speak Jon, but really struggling to translate this one! ;-)
  5. Booyakasha I bet Ali Gs zombie plan would be great!
  6. I tell clients on average they will get around 1 cube done per hour and if you look at it that way it's well worth it!
  7. I charge £25 an hour for me, fuel and my splitter. If I have to cross cut any of their timber I charge the same £25 per hour.
  8. I use medallion net and they are great. They have Every size of net imaginable, mine are approx 40litres and come in at 24p per net.
  9. Have you fiddled with the pressure valve. Normally a nut with Allen key
  10. I have the exhaust of my GX390 Loncin Engine on the bench with a view to welding a peice of pipe to the hole so i can add some pipe and a decent silencer. Just wondering if this is going to adversly effect the machines power?
  11. why not offer help? What do you find a tonne of cord makes?
  12. 1 tonne is just under two loose cubes. For projections and stock estimations i use 1 tonne = 2 cube.
  13. Hi Dylan, I have printed your pictures out allready and have a good idea of what we are going to do next cheers for the help and advice. Tom
  14. Well, some good and bad came outta today. I know I have more than enough power to split the chunks I have. The rsj supporting the blade was not up to the job. I will be off to the metal shop tomorrow with my child's drawings to get my templates cut from 15mm plate so I can copy Dylan's. Going to put plate on top of the beam so I have a flat deck and make a standard 4 way knife.
  15. Ps. The slider plate size is a fair point, hadn't thought about this to be honest. I'll see how it goes tomorrow and check the sliders action carefully.
  16. Excellent info re working out the force. Thanks. Chris, I threw the problem out to two plant mechanics, they looked at the problem a different way. Theory is the rams height is central to the knife centre. The small set back knives are a gamble. All support pieces for the push plate are cut waiting to see how well it works... Or not... Before welding them in place. Ie less to grind off ;-) It may be its total wank and I have to man up and buy metal rather than using what I can find.
  17. This has just been posted on our local classified forum.... "Large quantity of scrub and branches ready to chip. If you have a chipping machine, please feel free to come and take as much as you want. Based in Glen Auldyn"
  18. 7ton digger The ram is maybe 30t, not sure tbh, it looks more than double the size of my 10t splitter. Going to pipe it and test the blade and power tomorrow. So I'll know if a blade rethink is in order.
  19. School boy error today... Having measured the RAM body we thought it had a throw of 10 possibly 11 inch, so as everthing was semi secure i thought id best check. The ram at maximum extension has a through of a whopping 6inch.. c0ck So we took a walk around my mates yard, a burnt out CAT 7ton digger has now donated its RAM to the project and tomorrow i will be cutting the rear off the splitter and making a new rear mount. This ram has a throw of 16inch so all in all i think it will work out for the best in the end!
  20. In his reply the buyer understandably expressed concern about dealing / making payments outside of eBay and PayPal. I sure won't send anyone a bacs payment for anything bought on eBay.
  21. Excellent pics many thanks.
  22. You haven't actually been conned....
  23. Think you have been very hasty here! I'd be pissed off if I were the buyer...
