  1. You killed the cat?
  2. A pal follows the insanity training method. It's mental. He's mental. Mental results.
  3. No signature link appears in Tapatalk.
  4. Lost a big lime in the gales tonight. Took out neighbouring estate's gate and gate post. Oops. Tree easy enough to clear but the stone gate post is another matter. Dang.
  5. Does it need to pay for itself or just for fun?
  6. Drivers. Speaking to an NHS planner who reckoned ambulances self driving with 15 years.
  7. Aye you will be grand. Your great attitude sings out from your posts and it'll serve you well. New beginnings bring new challenges and also new rewards.
  8. Let us know how you get on. The appeal is about your car, no one else's parking status will come into it.
  9. Which council is this? What daftness.
  10. Glad worked out for the better.
  11. Like the fiskars!
  12. I thought £50 was steep.
  13. This for personal use? There's not much there, fair few tiddly thin bits. 4 tonne? I'm not sure.
  14. Good job I can't stand whisky!!
  15. It's £42 here and I'm 50 miles from the distillery.
  16. Aluminium wiring is the pits for broadband. Surprising how much there's about.
  17. True Jon the modems in the routers are important. It's possible to collect line stats from most routers and you could then compare them on your different lines.
  18. It's all about the wiring into the home. If it's been cut and rejoined (how many times has that accident been discussed here) then the line noise will be higher and their speed will drop.
  19. How you going to speak in caps on the telly? :-)
  20. The customer has achieved his aim though, and cheaply.
  21. We get it when there's not a breath of wind and the flue is cold. The cold air in the chimney sinks and flows out of the stove. A blast of hot gases from loosely scrunched newspapers allowed to flare up over a firelighter is enough to shift that block of cold air from the flue and restore the usual direction of flow.
  22. Everything grows on rain and sunshine in that programme. No inputs required!

About

Arbtalk.co.uk is a hub for the arboriculture industry in the UK.
If you're just starting out and you need business, equipment, tech or training support you're in the right place.  If you've done it, made it, got a van load of oily t-shirts and have decided to give something back by sharing your knowledge or wisdom,  then you're welcome too.
If you would like to contribute to making this industry more effective and safe then welcome.
Just like a living tree, it'll always be a work in progress.
Please have a look around, sign up, share and contribute the best you have.

See you inside.
