  1. £5 cheaper? You've good shops. I saved over £200 on a saw over my local dealer.
  2. My traffic is eight passengers + driver, legally an mpv not a minibus. Car speed limits. Dave
  3. Felling license?
  4. Miss my kangoo.....
  5. The storm and white stuff has got the phone ringing. Some are wanting to double up in case weather gets bad. Ok by me!
  6. Strike near house. Lost a lot of electricals. Dang.
  7. Lovely pic! You looking across to the Ardmeanach Peninsula?
  8. Calm here tucked in behind hill. Hardly a breath of wind.
  9. Lightening very close, intense hail downpours, wind and gusts increasing. Up answering phone call on tree leaning over a house on the hill.
  10. Picked up here but very wet weather to be delivering in.
  11. Going to be too wild for comfort next few days.
  12. Horner £220
  13. No buyers premium just VAT on sales. I had a list with me of the new prices so I could compare. Glad for the guy prices were strong. All the kit had been sprayed during the week by auctioneers. I'd have preferred to see it in farm condition. Dave
  14. Only thing I did buy!
  15. I don't travel far either.....
  16. Going to do my maths to see if I'm under 3.5......
  17. My hand went up a few times but my money stayed in my pocket. Strong prices but I'll not pay more than new for second hand kit. Crazy. Dave
  18. Tayvallich http://www.uagroup.co.uk/farm-dispersals Dave
  19. Great local farmer retiring this week and sale tomorrow. Cash only so I'm expecting some serious bulges in pockets. I'm after some gates and hurdles, tractor weights, 3 point linkage fork bars and some tools. I reckon I'll do well to get a bacon roll! ! Grand day out. Dave
  20. 25% chance cold snap coming with some snow and ice. Starting next week continuing into following week.
  21. As above!
  22. Still 60p + vat in Argyll
  23. Waterlogged wood in my experience dries very light and hence has little energy. The stuff I've come across is because of rot and the fungus has used most of the energy in the wood. If you need it it must be dried in single stacks so as not to pass water to other logs. Dave
  24. Some hope from my trusted forecaster. (26/11/14) Look Ahead - There's that cool Decembe…: Dave
  25. That'll be you selling it then. Get it on Arbtrader
