  1. Nice one Waz! If the feedback you give is positive then Ill also buy one,
  2. Its probably bolted to a Corsa or Clio, Id keep you eye out in the car park of your local Mc Donalds.
  3. If the forum could do a deal with Go tek or a similar company to loan or donate a couple to use in exchange for a small advert on here. We could use them in theift hot spots If the system started to work then stickers warning that this vehicle or machine could be fitted with a tracker in association with Go tek and Arbtalk could be produced and sold for £2.50 each. If every member bought 4 stickers then 10 % of members would have a tracker on a 2 month rotation, thats 1000 trackers waiting to be stolen in hidden pieces of property It wouldnt take long before it paid off and somebody got caught and with the eyes of 10,000 members of arb talk watching Im sure plod would find the guts to do more than just tell the theifs off After a year a sticker with the ammount of recoverd items and prosicutions could be produced as a further deterent
  4. No not a Go tek ! just saw it on the gadget show stick one in the petrol tank of an old saw and leave it with the good one's in the container, if they get nicked you can pay the thief a visit
  5. Thought this might be of interestGoTEK7 - GoTEK7 Tracking Device
  6. If he's stealing then he's dis-honest thats a no brainer, so if you do go to the old bill dont expect him to come clean, He'll probably say you gave him permission then its your word against his. Id start paying him a month in arears when his wages are ready for him to collect show him the evidence and tell him if he resigns without pay then you wont take further action and the whole thing can be forgotten about.
  7. Some fantastic cars Nearly all were British The Jag that Kate's Mum and Brother were in looked spot on
  8. With a combined age of 175 years I think that Lizz and Phils days of tree work are behind them .
  9. Well Im proud to be British and wish them all the luck If you cant say something nice for them then you would be better off saying nothing IMO
  10. Good job that bet its nice to have the spare seats and room for tools
  11. Page 10 of Arbtalkers arbtrucks Sihart100 s post
  12. The ply you speak of could be Phenolic coated, its the same sort of stuff trailer beds are made of. I opted to buy aluminium twin skinned tongue and groove planks when I built my first truck and their still going strong on the second . Its dead easy to work with but your always going to pop rivets (No pun intended) as the bodys flex and bend. There is a guy on here that built a similar ali body on a Cabstar ( Ill try and find the thread) A friend of mine opted for the ply and regreted it:001_rolleyes:
  13. I used to have trouble with (cavity auto dump ) until I found Imodium
  14. Well done that Man For a first go you get 10/10 in my book
  15. You could get a Garret ace for around £100. A C-scope 3cmx for £200 ish, for around £400 a Minelab Sovereign Gt. any of those are good machines for the money, and can be used on the land aswell as the beach
  16. The Garrets are a great machine for the beach as long as you stay of the wet sand
  17. My old man used to say your as old as the woman you feel
  18. Im an old man then at 34, I always thought of you guys as in your 40 s until I read a thread the same as this and realized your nearly all teenagers
  19. Same as that You cant beat the fealing of finding your first Roman or hammered
  20. Sovereign GT and a Tecknetics T2 Ltd still in the box that I want to sell.
  21. It stops me thinking about work and also I enjoy researching sites and the relics that turn up
  22. Had a couple of hours on the beach with the Minelab this evening and found £18.42 . Just wondered if anybody on here metal detects ?
  23. I might get under cut on the job as I said im only the second person to quote and the job isnt in the bag yet. Ill keep you posted I only moan about pricing when a customer is a pain in the bum ringing every 10 minutes to get me out, for the job to be an hours work at £60, then to be told that they've had a price of £40 and got a few other companies to still come out and ouote , I cant blame them for trying to get the cheapest deal but its always the customers that ring countless times to do a tiny job that never end up having it done Even worse are people that ask for a quote when really there just picking your brains so they can do it them selfs
  24. Just Priced a job to fell 40 confers and stack in 3 piles for the owner to burn at £1000, the owner said the other quote was £3000 not sure what planet the other guys are on or wheather they want to do a few jobs and retire but Ill be in and out in a day and a half.
  25. Defiantly not a job! but one of the most rewarding things I've done was making my girls their Upsy Daisy Birthday cake .
