  5. Only joking I hope it turns up
  6. It might be cheaper to keep quiet rather than broadcast that it was your kit bag that caused a multi car pile up.
  7. Yesterdays history, tomorrows a mystery and today is a gift thats why its called the present.
  8. It says it weighs 64 tonnes but can lift 90 have they got it wrong or is that possible ?
  9. I posted the first link to youtube on here a while back because on the clip a chap made an oak cleft gate, the trouble is the link no longer works. Can anybody through any light on why this is and if the link can be still found on the net ?
  10. Not a fan of practical jokes My brothers mate at school was thrown into the swiming pool on his birthday, he hit his head and layed on the bottom and they left him there thinking he was just fooling around. By the time they got him out he was dead. my brother was'nt at school that day but if he was he would have been one of the lads.
  11. 2 things about the 252 I dont like are that each wheel should have independant drive to steer and do away with the naff steering / jockey wheel and the controls should pivot out so the user has a better view of the cutter wheel. I may well have mine converted and do away with the jockey wheel as this would make the machine a couple of feet shorter
  12. I bought a plastic shovel from a tack shop years ago and its done me proud.
  13. Aint that the job Butler had something to do with ?
  14. They may have cut the middle section out and turned it to help prevent cupping, its possible but you may also be right
  15. Thats a great link Face cord and if what they want to do was made so I doubt half of the wars in the world would need to be faught. In time Im sure most of us will come to realise that what the media and government tell us is only a smoke screen. If a resource is plentyfull then it does'nt command a high price but if its can be made scarce and rashioned then its a sellers marketand the profits pay for us to live the way we do now. Im not sure how goverments world wide would deal with it if we all decided to be self sufficent and grow our own food, produce our own power and exchange our skills without money changing hands but it would be the opposite to what we'll see over the comming years.
  16. You laugh but I cant see a reason why they cant just send the electric, we have gas and oil pipe lines. I admit my knowledge of elecricity is zero but signals were sent across the atlantic 100 years ago along cables and other cables conect us to the US.
  17. Hi Goaty I was trying to do the sums to see if it was worth stacking the chip up in a mates yard and going halfs with him if he loaded it on the trucks. I should have explained better
  18. Can anybody give answers to the following please ? (1) does the chip have to be a certain size. (2) does it need to be fresh or can it be stored outside over a few months to allow the quantity to build up. (3) does the distance from the power station effect the price. (4) what on average does it fetch a ton.
  19. I wonder why they have to send the material rather than just sending the electric accross, it must be possible.
  20. Seems that each county needs its own biomass power station to cut down on the milage.
  21. As said
  22. Its my birthday on the 29th of march
  23. If your ever near Chichester then pm me as I have a few pieces of yew in the yard, I would'nt feel happy to grade them and get you down to be disappointed, so just let me know if your down this way.
