  4. Not looking for a pat on the back just thought Id share the story behind the tree, When I first shaped it 20% of the limbs were wind damaged or dead and the owner was in 2 minds regarding having it out . Thankfully he gave it a chance and I have enjoyed nursing the old girl back to health. As the only tree in a cul-de-sac of 30 bungalows its a Mecca for the birds, boring story maybe but always nice to be able to go back to trees every couple of years and see them respond to a little bit of tinkering.

  21. Same tree, and yes thats a hole to the right so its possible to see straight through
  22. No mate none I know about, they are all left to do their own thing. probably why the estate has so many vets
  23. One from yesterday
  24. Tree work isnt an occupation its become a life choice ! its an excuse to drive around in a landrover with a terrier dog, cook breakfasts on an open fire and pose for pictures. The money isnt going to be plentyfull and neither is the work, so maybe the grafters on here that just want to pay the bills and cloth their kids should find a more lucrative less glamarous trade that does'nt appeal to people that either have rich parents or rich partners that can keep them in the custom while they play Lumber jack I have a terrier and a 4x4 by the way
  25. I recon we should all just knuckle down and get on with it instead of moaning, we aint got it to bad in my opinion,
