  1. Only ever once Jon I was in the same position as Rod had a 660 but thought I needed an 880. Yes it's a beast of a saw but what a cumbersome beast it is all day cutting big 3ft plus stuff knowing that your going to spend the next week through a splitter. Not for me
  2. Have you used an 880 all day?
  3. Why do you want to give up firewood If I remember right you have a harvesting operating so thought it would be a good earner for you.?

  10. To be honest if you have a 461 I would make do wit that and see how the next season pans out. The only way you will speed it up is a processor more coin. I've got white finger pretty bad from riding motor bikes in all weather and using big impact wrenches all day for a decade and I don't notice any difference in the vibes using the 660 over a 461/ 362 /261
  11. Get a 660 I would go for an older one with the screw caps if you can find one I got a brand new 2009 model in early 2013. I'm in the yard now cutting up over size. We run outs on a 30 and tackle pretty much anything. 880 is a bit over kill for firewood IMO big old lump to be wielding it will make your arm ache.
