  1. Hi we got a 13 ton macick petrol which we sit next to the processor and split the awkward ones. Since upgrading our processor it's not been used a lot as she breaks everything that goes through her. Have been thinking about upgrading her but to be honest don't know of a better machine. Yes it's heavy comes in shy of 400 kg but I can get it on a GD105 if I have to bit of a ball breaker after a long day. In transit you really need four straps on it as if you had two and one went it would be over in seconds .

  7. You will not get a 1000 cube into 20shipping container there's at least 1800 cube. Put some pics up so people can see what there dealing with . If it's neatly stacked it all go quite quickly. If it's just chucked in a pile not many will be intrested

  9. Oil price has nothing to do with cord price mild weather now that's a divider mr story all together . There's an estate by me that had 1500 ton of ash cut he was told he would get £70 a tone for it. Now he has been offered £46 he's told them he all let it rot first

  11. Haulage will not come down as there are not enough drivers even in the quite spells. I no of 4 brand new units been put on the road since Christmas

  13. If at levels off at £40 it would work quite well.

You would be surprised at how many people heat there homes with just firewood one old girl gets us to deliver ours then a lad down the road from her comes with wood that's a bit green he stacks his then ours . She keeps telling me he might learn something well stacking ours. Can just imagine him grumbling well stacking ours .

  17. There not a bonus then are they you need to keep growing doing 100 200. 300 tonne is nice extra money but if your solely in the firewood game you need to be doing over. 800 t to make a viable business. We're not there yet but this time next year Rodney.

  20. Nope like hearing the kching when I push the joystick up on the tajfun been doing over size today and I'm knackered.
  21. Steve where your situated I know for a fact you can get cord for £40 on hardwood and 29 for soft. So the average is around the cost you want. We're buying in that area and getting a load back to Herefordshire so drivers can get home.
  22. Can't wait to be stood in the sun not the rain in an inch of **** . No deliveries to fit in . Gambling on how much cord to buy.
  23. Um yes but what about growing your business where do those new customers come from there not bonuses there a necessity.
