  1. From what I can understand this row had been brewing for ages and a mahout factor was the lack of support from said producer when it all went Pete tong in Argantinia. So I'm guessing Clarkson had been wound up over a long time and the steak was the final incident. The days of going outside and sorting your differentces out are long gone
  2. I've witnessed two very serious accidents when I was involved in steel erection the first time it took 6 months for me to regain my confidence in the air and 12 months to fully come to terms with it. The second was a family member who all though he survived was left in a very bad way. I put all my time into helping him and his family get though it. He went onto retrain and works as a health and safety advisor. After the second incident I never returned to the industry much of that was due to the way the investigation into the accident was conducted and the firm employing us turning there back on us. It was a blessing in disguise as I went on to start my own landscaping firm which I get more satisfaction out of. Don't be a typical bloke and bottle it up or start spending more time in the pub, go see your GP and explain how you feel and see what he has to offer. It's the same with any traumatic event the more you talk about it the easier it is to get your head round.
  3. Yes but if it's just an extra layer of security they will either rob some other poor bastrd or give you enough time to catch them in the act then the fun begins
  4. Yes £63 delivered ill pm you the numbers now
  5. Good processor had one myself wish I had kept it to run along side my tajfun
  6. 30 years doing firewood FairPlay you must be doing something right then:001_smile: We have started supplying in crates as we have our kiln dried cooked by someone elsa so it cuts down on the handling and transporting is better.
  7. Few quids worth there mr shavey I've got a metal box attached to the fence leave the padlock undone and a note asking them to snap it shut. Not had a problem yet.
  8. The only thing I no about power lines is it's best me stop away from umm I did wonder if he was having a laugh.
  9. Going off topic a little a friend of mine has a big yard under a set of hv cables he changes the battery's in all the machines every 6 months because the lines drain them apparently
  10. Before long he would want a private jet on standby. Where do you stop Jon
  11. No I've not found that bag on first trip holds correct amount second trip it's bigger and third trip there bulging. Each time there filled shaken and moved they stretch a little more We still use old bags but tip them out for loose loads so have a prity good idea how much is in them. Bag supplies complete mosquito are the best for retaining size IMO
  12. I think I've liked your page
  13. Nice neat bags there hertswood. As I've said before I do like those collapsable crates but can't justify the outlay
  14. They just use a 7.5t lorry and a long chain round here.
  15. Sensors that alert you to movement are the best bet linked to a camera that can be viewed remotely on your phone. The above method has saved the kit of a friend of mine. Really need to live with in 20 mins of yard though. I have locks CCTV security fencing and trackers on plant park the machinery against container make it as hard as possible for them. Dog would be good if it could be kept the humanly. I don't see how the lock boxes can be used to apply pressure to the padlocks if there made correctly plus the locks are round so hard to get a grip on. Talk to your insurance company and explain what security you have and make sure there happy with it then they can't wriggle out of it if the worst happens.
  16. Hardly the right time and place though. Over reaction to a tongue in cheek comment I think the old saying if you have nothing nice to say say nothing at all springs to mind.
  17. Seeking blame is not the point. The in jury's that this gentlemen received are very serious and he will need help to recover from them compensation will help him get his life back on track. I also think he is quite rightly deserves it. Insurance company's will not pay compensation until the courts have proved liability. The LA responsible for this tree have not covered there duty of care and need to be shown they were in the wrong the only way for that to happen is to take it to court and see where the blame lies! So seeking blame will change things
  18. We have abus rock endorsed by many of the big insurance firms 1 in to yard 2 on compound gate 2 on container all are sat in steel boxes which would make it harder to cut.
  19. Foods crap doesn't make sense you would think they would want to build you up not give you over cooked dross. Hope you have a better start to your day tomorrow Are there any pretty nurses I must say bch had a very high standard
  20. Round top ones that way when you sheet it the wires don't rip the sheet Measure half way up the panel and put a rope or ratchet all the way round to stop it bulging. If they do split you wound not want to be stood by it
  21. How many bags you doing. Doesn't look very good charging mrs miggins top dollar and rocking up with an old ton bag
  22. Friends are friends even if there idiots I've stood by lads when they f up May & Hammond both no Clarkson would of done the same for them Dependable friends are hard to find today
  23. Yep put a strap or rope round the middle you need good quality panels to begin with
  24. I agree with the above but I'm afraid there are idiots out there that only understand violence or the other type of idiot that will push you to breaking point and then wonder why he's pouring claret from his nose. Mark hit the nail on the head
