  1. Some ones going to be getting some ear ache.
  2. Winds never sounded so bad
  3. Really we bought 150 2 to 3 ft root balled yew in 2011/12 and paid £975.00 for them.
  4. You all fit in just nicely then
  5. I think I'm right in saying Ericsson took over the management of the masts and were last year putting millions aside to deal with the problem in the article. Problem being the work went through 5 firms been subbed out each time if you could get the source or the second firm there would be some good money to be made. Talking to the lads who are on site with you when these works are been done the land owners have had some huge payments so the work can be carried out.
  6. There's an older Sanderson on the bay rear wheel drive an old machine but if you read the write up it's been gone through and had 4 k spent on it. Ring him if he has the receipts for the work it all be a good buy. That machine will go on for years if stored in the dry
  7. Problem with skid steers is they skid not steer so your nice neat road planning's will need levelling all the time. Don't be tight spend the extra and get a tele they do come up now and again for reasonable money. If you do go down the skid steer root stop away from Tomas you can get a lot of machine for very little money but Tomas went bust a few years ago and spares are like hens teeth.
  8. What's on the deck in your yard stone , soil , concrete
  9. Quote for it if you get it all good but just be aware of the comments all ready made. It's all a learning curve
  10. Ok Nats bollack short of 1.1 then
  11. I understand where your coming from its good to have aspirations but I would grow your business on your current client? You will naturally progress on to bigger jobs. The other thing been you really need all your own gear to get this sort of work it's a competitive market and you will need to keep your overheads as low as possible. Hireling lads in with a chipper and to remove chip ain't going to be cheep.
  12. I got 1.95 and have been using a full ibc in our cubic meter crates don't mind giving a little away but .2 of a cube would be a little much
  13. My sentiments exactly. Mrs miggins will see you as a working man with a family to feed Corporations will see you as number on a payroll
  14. Are you sure there 1200 litres
  15. That's was my first thought.
  16. Pikes come and recycle all our metal good to know there allso thinking about the environment:lol:
  17. Was sat chatting in the pub to an electrician who had his van done his attitude was it's insured I'll get paid out job done. Us tree surgeons must be a little more attached to our kit as when we got done I was absolutely gutted. Be carful when you replace as they will be back sometimes you can use that to your advantage.
  18. Lad that does a bit of work for me has bought a connect 6 weeks ago he loves it farther in laws got a caddy there quick but if you got a bit of weight on there a bit light on the steering. He has been a fireman all his life so use to driving things a little quicker than normal you never quite know where your going to end up when you come out of a bend.
  19. If it's a thousand litre ibc there just over a cube
  20. Keep looking forward to the intensive rehab mate you will get there.
  21. To honest mm there's no real easy way of processing arb waste in to usable logs it's hardworking which ever way you look at it. Most tree surgeons I know bring it back to the yard in 10 inch rings and then get the lads to split when it's slack. By the time you payed the machinery and labour there will not be a lot left init
  22. Wilsons do a log cleaner that will fit most machines fit one of thesa and you won't have to worry about tailings on elevator
  23. Oo er mrs
