  1. Actually not quite right some one read the thread and sent the pic to me saying please shut him up let's see how long it takes him to work it out??as quite a few other members had messaged me saying what's his problem over stacking boxes I put it up. The only reason I've not gone 8 high in my yard with full boxes is it's hard core. As soon as I've concreted the yard it's quite possible. Not another letter
  2. Fair play Steve there's not much you could not tackle with that set up:thumbup:
  3. In what way. The thing that has a negative impact on this forum is people putting up replays in threads when they have nothing positive to add. Why don't you leave it to the gaffer and mods to decide and let them deal with it in there way. Or are you just trying to stir up trouble
  4. Funnily enough the pic I put up was out of there yard Want you spoon back now
  5. Both they have a fleet of delivery vehicles plus use outside contractors. It's not really relevant how they do it the bag end up in the dry and the client does not touch them
  6. Agreed different areas different requirements but it's like a lot of things thesa days people don't want to get there hands dirty and have very little time so having it in bags saves them both. Advertise the fact and I think you would get more sales in bags ... We did.
  7. Yes CW firewood the biggest supplier of firewood in the uk how could I not know there on my back doors step Mr b doesn't like us mentioning other firms on the forum.
  8. The same as everyone's that sells kiln dried firewood
  9. Your main competitor delivers bags via a crane so why not get in on the game it's a no brainier
  10. Most people that buy logs up here don't want them tipped out on there drive and don't want to have to stack them. They want them dropped in a bag in the garidge
  11. How do you deliver a steal stillage to a client how would you charge a deposit on one hears your logs and I need 100 pound deposit on the stillage. I deliver softwood to a rHI client who wanted stillages he bought them
  12. If your on about stretch then you got allow for that in your price. There's one firm that's got the size and stretch under control use twice sell on for not much less than cost
  13. Agreed bags are the way forward
  14. I f the cutters are sharp it will leave a better finish than most roller mowers Available hear for 17 plus the nasty
  15. Tidy job been thinking of buying a mini mill and knocking a few up to sell at the yard.
  16. The only thing I run on gas is the forklift in the barn like anything elsa I pay my money and take it never look at price with things like that as driving round is going to cost more than you save. I fill up with fuel in a local garidge it's not cheep but it's local and they have logs off me
  17. You getting a processor then jon don't forget its not just the machine there is 100 k of cord your going to need to feed it 10 grands worth of bag/boxs log deck tele
  18. What is it you hate about it. If your harts not init there is little point in doing it unless employing others with a flair for it.
  19. The fastest is the pinosa followed by a mutitec imo never used either but seen both up close well been operated. Tajfun are bringing out a 500mm from what I've been told its going to blow the competition out the water
  20. The taj has one runs at the end of a long day or when using the 12 way
  21. Yes i had thought of this on my last farmi it would be quite simple to rig up but I'm hearing a lot of people saying the same thing so think it will be a matter of time before they change it. If they don't then ill find another little processor Even by changing to vegy oil will not solve the heat problem as the hotter the machine gets the oil becomes super runny.
  22. because i like a chainsaw i can keep sharp myself been there done it i can see the advantages. I would have another farm in a hart beat if they ran them on chain oil
  23. An amozone would be ideal for that site I've seen them used to clear sites after partys they eat anything cans bottles the lot if it doesn't go up the screw it just breaks it down till it does
