  3. Am liking steroids Chris Never felt so full of energy Got to be careful I don't do anything ...silly Second dose of GA101 yesterday As usual the piriton (anti histamine) they give with it zonked me out Theres a fair range of people on Chemo- youngest I've met about 40 one nearly 80- all very patient. Something like this is I think character changing- though how long it lasts after treatment...success???? I don't know. Sometime you need to take a step back from the headlong rush that is life and assess what really matters. We all know that but how many of us do anything about it. A lot of the times we're conditioned to react in ways that don't mean anything in terms of humanity/friendship. Lets face it the phrase- there's some c**ts out there' could be applied to ourselves at times. Start with the easy things- drive like an angel today- that guy in front of you who is driving too slow ... he may be on his way to chemo.

  18. Theres references and theres references Most employers are able to read between the lines even though outwardly the reference seems acceptable. Simple case of using more adjectives:001_smile:
  19. Glad you sorted that out Mark I really hate it though- hope it didn't get gold:001_rolleyes:
  20. You reminded me- I meant to build a pizza oven- can't beat them that way. Always seem to have olive wood for fuel when you encounter them. Thats not going to happen here. Maybe poplar:biggrin:
  21. Spot on:thumbup: Theres a lot to growing vegetables- much more than can be explained in a quick post. Scruffy veg gardens are not necessarily bad gardens. They are allowing more eco stuff. Not for your military types though!! By the way carrots like sandy soil and don't manure as you'll cause forking.
  22. you don't have to remove them from the bags- they are usually biodegradable and the damage from removing them outweighs the other issues. 12inches buried not so good though there will be settlement and is this the distance from the top of the soil to the bag or is it the distance to where they were grown in the nursery- you can check that by noting the change in bark colour. There may be other reasons. I'm sure the council know what they are doing.
  23. TORDON 22K | Control of Nettles & Thistles in Turf | Amenity Land Solutions that should help This is my first time adding stuff so fingers crossed:001_rolleyes:
