  10. I know it has been ages, but it has been surprisingly hard to get quotes from freight companies. The good news is that I have them. To the UK freight costs around GBP 1500-2000 per 40 foot container depending on where in the UK. The wood currently costs GBP 49 per cubic metre for seasoned birch and GBP 42 for a mix of Finnish firewood. That's cut to 12 inches and packed in ready to sell 1 cubic metre crates. 48 crates fit in a 40 foot container.
