  1. The wasps can have all of them for me. Yucky stuff. I like the rope in the corner idea. You could have short lengths of chain hanging to floor from front pillars then a rope in a Y from the chains across the floor of the bed and 8ft of surplus at the tailgate end to pull at or tie to something and pull forward. The times I've climbed 45 degree woodchip in a tractor trailer to boot it down! Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  2. That's the difference between being a commodity and appreciated. Sounds like the new boss wants to make an impression with the figures! I have hgv C&E I get £10-12 per hour right through self employed. Pay all my own training costs. Also it's a flat rate no O.T rate Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  3. Can't see a problem flying in the EU as long as no fuel/oil in saw and all the gear is not in hand luggage.
  4. Go to the local truck cover or trailer/truck repair company, they have to dispose of old curtainsider curtains etc. I have got 44ft curtains with one little gash in for £20. Cut the bit you want off and have the rest on stock for replacement or other uses.
  5. He must get some bush fires in that beard as well.
  6. I know what you are saying openspaceman, resistance and all that. The freeflow return concept is simple and effective, we have it on a multivalved postknocker. I have seen many pressurised valve blocks leak because of the lots of oil and not enough room to go anywhere quick enough. If I understand what you are saying you recommend flow from tractor to valve then back from valve to transmission sump via a larger size hose and coupler, avoiding the pair of couplers partner which also has to return through the tractors valve block. Our splitter operates on a compact tractor which does have a valve adjustment for double acting and single acting operations
  7. We have one i bought off ebay. It has auto kick out at the top of the strokeIt works great unless someone puts the pipes in wrong way round on the tractor hydraulics or puts the lever wrong way. Just suggesting in case you pipes are not set to flow right.
  8. Ive yet to see it round here, but there is a hush hush local plague of it. I think I have it nailed. But not going to say where as its private land, legal implications maybe. However have been shown dead ash trees and asked if it is it? "No ash trees used to die before you know":001_rolleyes:
  9. In the simple world of childhood. No Government dept working out formulas, do's & don'ts Mojo swoptops!!!!!! He just swopped his top and was anything he needed to be.
  10. As long as its modest Tony, don't want no see though stuff:closedeyes:
  11. It was a play on the expression "Having a dog and barking yourself." The cat it the picture purrs quite nicely. (When my hearing is switched on)
  12. It wasn't me operating Jon. Plus I've been that deaf this last couple of weeks, you could of let a shotgun off next to me. I would of felt it but not heard it.
  13. Clients a farmer if he can got job done cheaper using his gear, it will happen. As for Burrell maybe he is busy enough to not need the £s and prefer to have a bit more of his time to himself rather than sweating up a tree. Money isn't that important, now Im older if there is a good way to mechanize, Im there doing it that way. No point having a Cat (challenger) and meaoOWwing yourself:biggrin: Plus the wallop on hitting the deck must be worth £200 in entertainment. It would make me smile. A night at the theatre wouldn't.
  14. Check the drawbar pin is in good order. This weeks failure!
  15. Automatic transmission fluid!!!!!!! Are you serious? Or am I barking up the wrong tree.
  16. Here they are ©The village idiot.
  17. The rocking axles must help with nose weight as long as you load it right.
  18. Here are (Hopefully) the above mentioned photos. Courtesy of the village idiot©
  19. Only looking at it on a phone. It's bizzare, it could be an interstock scion for compatibility reasons, but doubt it. More likely the trunk had protection on it such as a deer guard. When the tree fills it. The bark can tend to become more rootlike as the guard makes the tissue think its underground. This would explain the neat lines top and bottom. 20. Mycelium with fly agaric buttons. Come on lads this is Hamadryad!
  21. Glad you got one Tony. Up to that point the book club was going very positively. I was next in the que as well:y: Our local library only lets you read this book in the library. People try on the inflationary prices on the web, but really does anyone pay these prices?
  22. Me too august birthday. Couldn't wait to get stuck in. I've had a read of the gov website on red fuel. The proposers of the rules spent way too long in education. Not attached to the real world at all. So many complications and in plausible regs. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  23. But he writes in pigeon Scottish! Not the real thing as I realised when I bought asterix and the pechts instead of Picts. To add to my asterix book collection from many years ago. I hanne en red fiarst page. It's awful. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  24. Not if you spell it like that! I reckon it comes under a whole other category, (sorry couldn't resist. Feel free to go through my posts and you will find loads of mistakes)still have to do your cpc though. It is an on going headache. Probably if the vehicle has no reverse gear it would be ok as well. 25. Or get through more work with more ported saws. Then buy a holiday to go with the shades. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
