  2. lol thanks mate!!! have you tried both of the chippers? are you doin plenty of tree work now?
  3. yes i know they have been around alot longer but i have only ever seen a tw150 break down when someone put a metal bar though one!!! i have used greenmech vermeer jenson/wessex and was on the demo with theocus wiv the bandit and i know if it was my money i was spending i know which way i would go. i also know VEG and the 150 would be more than enough for what they will be doing. by the way VEG can you get me some of your pulleys?
  4. tw150 everyday there is a reason why you see more of them about, ive not heard good reviews of the quadchip but havn't used one so cant really comment! but for wot you boys will use it for i think you need to ask for a bc1000 lol
  5. hama he may of never done anything to the dog some dogs are just nervous there may just be something about his nieghbours persona that this dog doesnt like/understand. me and my girfriend went on a bumperboy day (gundog equipment) and my mrs fox red lab refused to do a retrieve on one stand, the person on this stand was telling my mrs who is a dog/gundog trainer that he would make it easier for the dog the dog was only 8/9 months old. my mrs said no its not that it's because your bald and the dog has never seen a bald person b4 so she told the bloke to come and introduce himself to the dog after that faultless retrieve. dogs dont think like we do and it may be that his nieghbour has done something but it may not be!!
  6. i wish your bro a speedy recovery yes it is often the owners that make a dog the way it is but your bro did cross into its territerry, you said your brother had been drinking so was it at night/did he startle the dog was he towering over it. it may have been made to be a gaurd/aggressive dog or it could be a nervous dog and your brother crossed the line. i would report it no matter what and the dog has the appropriate action taken as it has been said it could be a child next week. again i wish your brother a speedy recovery.

  13. but this officer didnt eat or humanely kill these 2 sorry 3 dogs he left them in a boiling hot cars to die a slow death, intentional or not. It is illegal in this country to cause suffering to an animal. im not a a veggie or a tree hugger im a country lad a former keeper and i have had to shoot a dog before for stock worring so im no bunny hugger but wot this officer did was wrong i couldn't care less if he was doing his shopping or planning the security details for 2012. it was wrong.
  14. i'll up that to £2 a load and i will take the lot the search button is a brilliant tool other than that ring up all the other firewood dealears in the area and find out how much they are charging and then do it for £5 cheaper and throw in a free bag of kindling
  15. very well said CTS im guessing that b101uk isnt a dog man. he has had a slap on the wrists before so now he sould get the full punishment doesnt matter who he is, jonathan your right he is clearly in the wrong job. i very much dought he will be banned from keeping animals tho as his wife is a police dog handler too!!
  16. sorry no excuse his car was at the police dog training centre im sure they have kennels there, its not like he would of been on call either because otherwise he would of had to take them to the meeting site!! in 2004 the bloke did the same to a spaniel and still got promoted. he needs to be made an example off, not only to other police dog handlers but also joe public! i come from a shooting back ground and i go mad because everyyear at every game fair you hear the same thing come over the loud speaker "would the owner of Car reg ***** please go and free your dog from the hot car" drives me mad!!! once is an accident, twice is takin the ....
  17. this blokes actions cant be excused he should get wots coming to him Sergeant Ian Craven, head of the Metropolitan Police force’s Dog Training Establishment, reportedly left the dogs, a working Belgian Malinois and a German Shepherd puppy, in his vehicle at the Kent training centre and went off to a meeting at the Olympic site near Stratford, apparently forgetting about the animals. By the time he realised his mistake and telephoned colleagues it was too late to save the suffocated dogs. Tuesday, in an alleged bid to take his life, he jumped out of a moving vehicle and suffered a hand injury. while it was travelling at around 30mph, then vanished
