  1. i use them also and theres another place in hamilton called servtech hydraulics that are very good
  2. diamond wheel on a 6inch bench grinder fully enclosed to keep the dust in the enclosure has a thick layer of grease inside it you just scrape it out every now and then to clean it and fill it back up works great and keeps all the crap inside
  3. remember and wear a mask as carbide is bad for you. get green teeth as well they are so much easier to sharpen you can even stand and drink tea while your doing it far better system
  4. and if your still worried about it put another line in the next tree
  5. buy a petrol one there won't be enough load on the engine on the unimog and it is a waste of engine hours
  6. copaslip and a torque wrench is what you need
  7. be careful which bolts you are replacing with stainless steel as it has a lower tensile strength than most normal bolts
  8. we are now dealers for sany they start off at 8 ton and go up to 75ton if you want to go that big
  9. picked it up on friday and used it today so far not that impressed with it maybe too used to the 560
  10. loads of wallets an out of date packet of johnnys and a cinema gift card with £20 on it
  11. auto idle would be a good thing low coolant and high temp and reverse rollers
  12. we've got a 560 i was just looking for a saw thats a wee bit lighter hence going for 550

    ok chaps time for a new saw going to go for a new 550xpg the last one we had a couple of years back was a pile of crap are the new ones any better
  15. we use 700s on both our grinders ones 16hp and the other is 28hp and we sharpen them ourselves best thing we ever done was change to green teeth if you do go for genuine ones not the aftermarket as the head diameter is smaller on the non genuine ones and it wears the front of the shank

  19. yep it lies at west of scotland heavy haulage at ward park , heaviest advertising sign yet weighing in at a mere 252 tons you can se it for miles
  20. we were working next to this today replacing an engine on a dump truck thats heading for a mine in jordan

  22. we hardly ever use arc welding now for plant repairs as its too slow and not any better than mig we have used it on everything from tin work up to 4" thick jaws
  23. to be fair the last one failed due to loading road planings with a grain bucket
  24. the front diffs are poop especially if you are loading heavy with them the last one i done the adjusters for the crown wheel were forced outwards as the thread was torn off and the crown wheel mashed up kerching its about 2k just for that one gear
