  4. Whatever tools you buy, make sure you get some quality japanese whetstones so that you keep them razor sharp. For what its worth all my chisels are from the vintage tool stand at various craft fairs and country shows!
  5. Finest logs in all of them there Mendip Hills eye jonner?
  6. What a sado Paul. It's beyond me why someone would waste their time being spiteful like that. I'm sure jealousy is the problem here..... After all, from our conversations I'd say you were only heading onwards and upwards. Perhaps they wish they had the same spirit of adventure and positive outlook on life...........oh and half a million views on their thread!!!

  11. My wife insists on a real tree (nordman fir or Norway sruce) . It goes up second week of December and gets chipped on new years day. All seems a bit pointless this year as I've been working away this week and we're not at home for Christmas.... Ba humbug!

  15. I had an 90 Xs 11 plate which was awesome but my 08 plate 130 crew cab HPCU is brilliant. Loads of space to sling kit in the tub and the bonus of more leg room (driver) and 3 people in the back (bit tight for adults but bearable). Having 6 gears is great too.
  16. Blimey they've got a few xmas trees down the kings arms mate!!
  17. Yeah you'd have been down there to nick it with your tractor hey jon!!
