  1. Was taken after a very hard frost over night.
  2. Another tree nearer to me is going to be felled because of a "significant defect". Landmark tree in Wimborne Square to be felled (From Bournemouth Echo)
  3. The BFG All Terrains are brillian.t We tried some Cooper Discoverer ATR and decided to get them changes to A/T as soon as possible. They are agressive but as aggressive the mud terrains. They gripped really well last year in the snow.
  4. Blade Trinity on Channel 4 now:thumbup:
  5. This is a scuffle:thumbup: One rule must be a 4x4. And thats it. That throaty monster of a Hilux Surf was mine last year. Bought it for 50 quid from a scrappy with a broken chassis.
  6. Very early but very pretty. A Primrose flowering next to a poo bin.
  7. I think i am finally getting the nack of failure photography.
  8. The two fungi i saw today. And one i'm not sure about. Loads of it along a flint and lime mortar wall covered in about 2 inches of moss. 1-6 - Hypholoma fasciculare 7-10 - Coriolus versicolor 11-13 - Unknown fungi/species growing on moss
  9. Some of the failures from last Thursday that i found in Delcombe today.
  10. I'm liking this at the moment. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vjIwmJMqrco]T.H.E. (The Hardest Ever) - YouTube[/ame]
  11. Shooting, mountain biking, photography, off roading and Scuffle eventing (not what you think it is)
  12. When everything starts growing again i shall get fortnightly pictures unless the land owner puts a fence around it. It has had permissive access for as long as i can remember and has good access of the old railway line.
  13. Not sure. There had been problems in the past with drug users in the thick buddleia stands. But with the amount of damage caused i wouldnt be surprised if it will be just nettle and brambles coming up. I am hoping with amount of chewing up with has occured it will have opened up the seed bank.
  14. My colleagues wound me up somethin chronic for liking this song. [ame] [/ame] I don't mind the song its the singer i like
  15. Pollard candidate with retrenchment and bracing around trunk to prevent further splitting?
  16. News photos | Arborist Anthony Willmington begins the process of chopping down a giant Caucasian Wingnut tree at Abbotsbury Subtropical Gardens near Weymouth. PRESS ASSOCIATION Photo. Picture date: Thursday January 12, 2012. The 90 foot tall tree was Just found this link. The tree is going for firewood and will take 10 days to cut down apparently.
  17. Our fire today. Should have got some pictures/video of the precision felling too.
  18. Will only flatten a few shrubs as closed during the winter months in certain areas as nothing growing.
  19. Such a shame it is being felled. It is still healthy and could be made safe if they strapped the trunk and reduced the sail weight massively. BBC News - Dorset champion tree gets the chop
  20. If the hedge has recently been layed (3 months or less) you wont be able to spray it as the chemical will kill the hedgerow. The only way you would really be able to deal with it is to spot treat (paint stumps with neat round up). That way you would minimise/eliminate spray drift.
  21. First time i heard this song today and loved it. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JRfuAukYTKg&ob=av2e]David Guetta - Titanium ft. Sia - YouTube[/ame]
  22. Cheers. Will hopefully have some more on Friday. And another load for the Delcombe woods thread as in there on saturday.
  23. Some of the ones from today. The last picture is of our flagship drive known as Burial Mound.
