  1. Got dafodils flowering in Yeovil and my Summer Snowflakes are flowering too.
  2. Not really. We have a good variety of guns brought to crichel. We have a few antique days which have boxlocks, sidelocks and double hammer guns brought along. We also have a double gun muzzle loading day. Great fun as long as the wind is blowing away from ya. My dad and i used to beat over at Langton Long before it folded. We shoot ducks and Tarrant Crawford on the watermeadows too.
  3. Had a good day last wednesday. Had a grey paddy and several pheasant. Did the lake but dropped a duck into the reeds which are inaccessible by anything bigger than a moorhen.
  4. Was a very good turnout this year. Probably touching 4000 people turned up and 1 police car. 60+ horses and about 50 hounds. The local hunts have a no follower/chaser policy as it snarls the roads up too much and you cant see them from the roads anyway.
  5. Back at the same venue tomorrow with the pup.
  6. Our present to my dad. Brought back good memories of when Bramble was on top form. The picture was taken in August and by December he had gone.
  7. Got a day of off roading planned for new years day. We shall be meeting at Blandford Tescos car park (at the bottle bank end) at 9.30 am. Will be up Salibsury Plain and all being well shall do the Ox Drove for the final floruish. For more info PM me

  13. Long grass depending on the tussockyness it is ok . It loves brambles providing they are flattened before hand.
  14. Epic song by Korn ft Skrillex and Kill the Noise [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CUOlc_j4rMA&ob=av2e]Korn (ft. Skrillex and Kill The Noise) - Narcissistic Cannibal - YouTube[/ame]
  15. Managed to fix the flail head with a new chain and replaced the slip clutch shoes too. We have the slip clutch on there just incase we hit anything really subtantial (big stumps, rubble, wire, etc). Checked the bearings whilst it was in bits and got a new bearing on the way for the other end of the flail head as it wont hold grease like it should even with the new gasket.
  16. Nope it was a deer that i startled when walking through the woods to the stop point which was next to the stump
  17. This might be a slightly better shot of the mycelium.
