  1. My new phone after the screen cracked on my old one. Bit of a brick in my pocket but atleast I know its in there. Could have had a Samsung Galaxy 4 but it would have lasted a week. Had to pay 40 quid for a downgrade though:confused1:
  2. Anyone want a Black and White four legged lampshade?
  3. One of the recently installed signs for the trailway. Pretty self explanatory hopefully.
  4. Got some shots of beech flowers between the gusts. Never really noticed them before.
  5. Here is a picture of a healthy crowned but goosed Ash which we have been assured wont reach across a nearby heavily used local B road and the house. WHat do you guys recon?
  6. A friend of mine was very very nearly squished by that monster. Just sent him the link of this thread for him to settle his nerves.
  7. To be honest the surface is very fresh and hasn't been properly weathered/bedded in so the stone is going to be loose on top until it either gets crushed up or moves to the side naturally. Its the road bike brigade doing the complaining because they have such skinny tyres and thin tread the small stones puncture the tyres. But they would also complain if they got punctures on the roads as well so we cant win
  8. Ooooh ar me lover. Yes I am. Will be a good weekend that's for sure.
  9. Some people just cant be pleased ....
  10. What ya recon to the yellow stone rolled in on top?
  11. Here is the Map, invite and poster for the day. Hopefully some local arbtalkers can make their way down. 20130425 - poster - milldown to stourpaine trailway launch v3 high res.pdf Blandford to Stourpaine invite May 2013 .pdf Blandford to Stourpaine Trailway opening May 19.pdf
  12. Just as well you aren't based near us. Got a BCS flail in a local workshop having an overhaul of the flail deck (cutter bearings, chain check under UV light, gearbox oil change, etc, etc) I can hear them cursing from our base some mornings.
  13. Mixed bag of pics. Vandalism on the way to work but an easy fix and this first twayblade in flower of the summer.
  14. Some more Dryad's Saddles. The 7 pictures are on a large and tall Ash. We have bee told by highways and the insurance company that it will not reach across the road or to the house. I will get some pictures of the crown and the distance between the road and house and let you guys decide. The current prognosis for this tree is "foobarred" but is going to be left despite Dryad's Saddle working its magic at the base and the roots undermined by bunnies.
  15. An ornamental Cherry that was planted last summer. We wondered if it would survive. And luckily it has.
  16. The dryads are arising after their winter slumber.
  17. Sorry to hear that mate. I lost my best springer at 5 years to Pneumonia a couple of years ago. I know exactly what your going through. Ours was hard as he died in my dads arms at home.
  18. Some pics taken by dad tonight with his Fujifilm HS 20 EXR.The last 3 were taken by yours truly of the pup having his wound dressing changed by dad. He doesn't just treat humans.
  19. Anyone who is interested if you can PM me or let me know if you are able to attend as two friends have had to pull out (blown rear diff seal and work) so currently it is only my dad and i going out in our 110 and we aren't too keen on going on our own on a couple of lanes, They arent challenging just a few bits where we may beach if we get it wrong. As before scratches may appear in paint work.
  20. Cant beleive he is 20kg though. He is only a small spaniel but it must be just muscle mass.
  21. Managed to deep cut and partially fillet his front right main pad on a piece of flint whilst out with a walk with the old man this morning. Went to the the vets first time round and they cleaned and dressed it but had to go in for a "dig around and flush" and the vet saw what he had done. Thank god its the quiet time and not in the shooting season. Still its a week-10 days on the lead then another fortnight of light exercise (if that is possible with a 20kg 11 month springer pup).
  22. Pups got a boo boo. A £114 boo boo at that. Liking the colour coded bandage though.
