  1. I had the Timberwolf version, much as I like timberwolf it was a bit of a shocker to feed, the hopper was much too high. Havent used the greenmech equiv. but it looks a lot more ergonomic.
  2. Hi all anyone get one these for their Kombi system? are they any good? I am looking to use them to clear mud off hard surfacing and general clean ups after tree works. Thanks a lot Dermot

    Hi all I know the 362 has taken its place but does anyone know of anywhere I could buy a new 361, someone drove a tractor over mine over the weekend and I loved that saw, I ve tried the 362 but Im not keen. thanks in advance Dermot

  15. hi all a little advice please, I have a job in the pipe line to reduce 14 mature Fastigiate Yew, they need about 3 metres off the top and the sides taken in, they are part of a formal terrace garden, I know they will handle the pruning but is it really a job of the dormant season or does it matter? cheers Dermot

  19. They will but they will charge me:sneaky2:, I wanted alloy ramps and they are an extra, Iv found that a lot of things as standard on the Dale Kane are extras on the ifor, dont get me wrong i own an ifor but I wonder have they rested a little too long on the luarels:confused1:

  22. Hi all, looking at changing my ifor williams and getting a small 8x5'6 tipper instead. The ifor equivalent is on large wheels so seems to be a bit too high off the ground. Found an add for Dale Kane trailers build quality and design looks good but has anyone heard of them I think they are built in Co Down? cheers guys Dermot
  23. Id say you will struggle to get sweet chestnut to do well, I have a few trees planted down in offaly on good ground but they have very poor extension growth, the summers dont seem to be hot enough, They seem to do really well on an acid soil in the south of England.
  24. Does anyone use an avant for tree work, if so are they any good are very limited in what they can lift etc?
