  1. Would you say its worth twice the Sieko though? I like the look of both - the Sieko with a leather strap would be great I think. Is the mechanics of the CW worth the extra £100?
  2. Management for me, 4 years at uni in September and then professional exams in chartered-surveying with any luck. Wow, thanks for that! Looking at the CW website I'm rather taken by this Christopher Ward Swiss Made C5 Malvern Watch understated and elegant I'll ring them on monday for secondhand stuff. Serious thinking needed! Thanks!
  3. Yeah, I think a lot of watches are too big. Because I'm a puffy almost office boy now I wear shirts a lot and I like to have a watch underneath rather than messing your cuff up - how gay. Anyway I don't really want one full of features. Just that will keep going and take a bit of a bashing. Cheers boss
  4. This is what I have been looking at, I like its look and price [ame=http://www.amazon.co.uk/Seiko-Mens-Automatic-Watch-SNK805K2/dp/B000LTAY1U/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_nS?ie=UTF8&coliid=I1ESGNS5T29C3Z&colid=3A7Z3G2ZOBDEJ]Seiko Men's 5 Automatic Watch SNK805K2: Seiko: Amazon.co.uk: Watches[/ame]
  5. If it's your thing, it's your thing. Better than dressing up in ladies clothes. I haven't really no. Any recommendations/ideas what I would get for that sort of money?
  6. Obviously its your opinion, so it cannot be moderated, but you need to head looking at.
  7. 15?! 7 1/2 on each arm?! I suppose when you get into the higher end they are a bit of an investment.
  8. I cant take my phone swimming though My budget is £150-£200, so a lot of the top offerings from Seiko, Tissot, Casio etc are too much. RobR, I like the sound of the scratch free face though, do you have a rough price or a link or something? Cheers
  9. Cheers lads. Looked at Tissot Rob but they are a bit more expensive and I don't like the look of them as much...
  10. Is anyone here "into" watches? I'm not, but I need a new one! Currently looking at a "Seiko 5 Automatic" - I like the plain look as opposed to the diver esq. watches you see. Is it a good make? Any idea what servicing and life span could be? Cheers, Sam
  11. Ill give you £100 for it? In the end you know if its right or not, no one else
  12. I know what you mean. I had a Peugeot van for a year and spent £6.40 on it. I've had a Defender 2 months and spent hundreds! What I mean is that extras on a truck dont normally affect sale value (IME), so you better off taking any gadgets (snorkels, roof racks, side steps etc.) and selling them separately as most people try and buy a sound, non modified beast. Well thats what I think anyway! Do what you wanna do though bro
  13. Will you flog any bits off your 90 mate?
  14. Any chance we can get you over the border and into "the north"? The Borrowdale Yew needs Hammaing and lots of others!
  15. What do you think my second picture is?!
  16. Suppose I'll turn up again to make everyone look knowledgeable... It was great last year, well up for another one. Need to wear long trousers this time though... bloody nettles.
  17. Afraid I can't help at the moment, but I'll ask around for you mate.
  18. Bloody geordies, always moaning... On a serious note another one to consider would be the Deerhunter smock here DEERHUNTER Game Stalker 2 Anorak - Clothing - Gun Shop, Shotguns, Rifles, Pistols, Air Rifles, Airguns, Gun Trader, Rifle Scopes, Accessories, Cabinets, Safes in Dorset and Devon, UK, Sportsman Gun Centre When I had one it was very waterproof, quite and tough. Not too much cash either.
  19. Outdoor & Endurance Clothing For Hunting, Fishing & Hiking - Country Covers Thats them, I have two antarctic shirts somewhere and they are fantastic. I also use their gunslips, very high quality gear all round.
  20. Oak out, ash is pushing for it at the moment but not quite. Penrith
  21. If it's a more general waterproof you want then the Swazi gear is quite simply the best made gear in the world.
