  1. Tractor paint/enamel can look good when done well - as said, prep is the most important thing.
  2. Enjoy it while it lasts, the spainiards will be on in a minute to steal all our banter!
  3. Apparently the ag. engineers not far away will know someone, so I'll be ringing them in the morning Got the old man looking down there, it's a possibility, Potteries diesels want some injectors off me so i'll maybe tie it all in. Yeah, I've seen some shocking bulkheads and chassis's! Hence after someone that's had experience
  4. Bernie Garland makes some fantastic stuff - I fancy his stalking set but it just wouldn't get used! Cracking knife, is that handle curly birch?
  5. Leukus are very cool

    Knives

Does anyone else appreciate a good bit of steel? I have a few, mainly stalking jobbys, but I also have one "posh" knife, a Ben Orford woodlands knife. It's a cracking bit of kit, lovely balance and craftsmanship. It still gets used for stalking and general stuff - but I'm a bit more careful with it, it gets an oil a lot more than the others too! Anyone else like blades in a non-rambo/samurai sword way?
  7. Mate, you need to check the spelling in the subtitles...
  8. I have a few bits of various things I'm looking at getting hot-dipped. Looking for someone in the North West - ideally Penrith area - to do it. Got a few folk from Google, but would like some recommendations really. Anyone know anyone?
  9. A mate of mine comes from a farming family way up in hill country in Yorkshire. When his little sister was born he was about 4. So he and his dad go into hospital to see his mum and in the bed next to them is a black lady. It was the first time he had met someone that wasn't white, and my mate can't stop staring at her and she is all polite and smiles back... anyway a bit later on she gets up wearing a big fluffy white dressing gown, she walks out of the room and he points after her and say "Look daddy, a Suffolk". (Picture of a Suffolk attached for the non-farming sorts)
  10. You a member Mozza? Looks like the place! Forums Rightho, how many ducks does she need then? No idea, the only thing I know about ducks is killing them!
  11. Apparently they are more accepted within the dogging and gay cruising community
  12. I have been asked to source 2 female ducks, to keep two male ducks happy Can anyone help?
  13. Argo, bike and mog - they are your other options if you want off road ability like a Defender.
  14. Don't know if they want the likes of you there mate... Access to profitable woodland - make woodlands pay their... - Eventbrite This jobby? Forthcoming Events | Cumbria Action for Sustainability :: Energy awareness and efficiency & renewable technologies for your home, business and community :: Cumbria Green Build Festival If so yes I'll be going, I'll try and get the lad I'm doing work for to turn up too
  15. Who's going? I'm there, don't know anyone else that is though... Looks to be a good day though!
  16. Generally no, but it depends on the tenancy agreement. Some have a break clause, some do not. If it is an AST that they are on then it may well do,, frequently 6 months with 2 months prior notice.
  17. Direct from him is the only way, he is Swedish (?) and posts them anywhere, he operates through bushwhacker people, on forums etc. I probably have his email somewhere as I talked to him a while ago about buying one, just can't justify another expensive axe at the moment. As I say, the single best balanced axe I have ever used, with the highest quality finish.
  18. Cegga. Used one once, and one day I will have one
  19. £8-10 if your using your own gear but their fuel (assume it's a subby job). 10-15 ton per day I'd have thought, depending how good you are etc. , but I think thats a reasonable rough guess. Sam
  20. Definitely going. Good chance I can organise free camping for anyone who wants it not far from Levens.
  21. Forgive my ingnorance, but why are they wanting to improve the ethanol content?
