  1. She's one to watch, liking that song a lot
  2. More interesed in how a wheelbarrow escapes tbh
  3. Nah, because normal people fit in them, and they have working heaters
  4. Continuing the rifle case theme. And a sharpening session in progress
  5. Just a few shots from various spots.
  6. I've done a fair bit of swimming while i've been up there. Corryvreckan is ace, I have never seen anything like it. Glen Etive is another cracker. Pretty much everything I have swum in north of Edinburgh has been brilliant, and so clean! It's a pain getting good swimming water down in Cheshire, a few old quarries etc. But up here in the lakes you just need to walk outside, there is so many great places to swim I am spoilt when I'm up here Big J, your link isnt/picture working Sam
  7. Old Boockle? or Buchaille Etive Mor, if you float that way.
  8. Cheers Plippy. Got the be the only person on here who hates NF gear. Mountain Hardwear/Mountain Equipment all the way!
  9. As charlie say, trees in river are ace. Cracking habitat and fun for kids
  10. Just wondering if there is any wild/cold water swimmers on here? I try and go once a day, all year round when I can. There's an old quarry not far away that I use. Anyone else mad? Sam
  11. Yup. Sorry I didn't make that clearer. I've got a bit on now though, so I may not be that flexible, but I'm still very interested
  12. Roping gloves are pretty good on ropes (funnily enough) and leather etc even in the rain. I used a lined pair for a bit. They will be good in winter
  13. I spent a lot of time with my parents (especially my old man) when I was little, about 80% of that was at "work" and I can almost guarantee that they were more fun that sitting in front of the telly with them at nights after a 5pm finish (not that I'm saying its what you lot do). I loved spending time with stock, on tractors, skid steers, building stuff, breaking stuff () and learning lots on the way. I was born in '93 but can remember the ban on asbestos in buildings in 1999, weird eh? Keep it up! Sam
  14. Ah, Balmoral is nice, some cracking people living & working there. Alladale is a funny place, the locals don't like him. The staff don't like him. But the tourists do! Got some interesting beasties kicking about though:thumbup:
  15. Is that Alladale?
  16. Don't really see that as "attacking him personally" it's just saying he's talking rubbish (in SH's opinion). Unless I am missing something I think you've taken that the wrong way
  17. Builders rubber/knitted at £2.50 a pop:thumbup:
  18. I suppose you have to cope. There will be a "What if" situation for every option. What if you and your pal both knock each other out? No experience of the Spot jobby, just know a few estates up north use them for their stalkers. Its better than nothing
  19. Anyone been using them? What do we think, especially in A.
  20. I'd have thought the same! Not many folk can afford any sort of harvester round here, we just don't have enough of that kind work. To be honest mate I'd be happy enough on a Tonka Truck
  21. Cool fell SH
  22. Like as not, was sort of hoping it would be someone local though, could do with some proper machine work before I go and do my tickets in the winter.
  23. Someone just drove past my house with a JD 1270E on the back. In Sandbach (Cheshire). Anyone know of people running that sort of gear round here? Sam
