  1. Atleast you know where it is Andy, most people don't! Cheers lads, I'll give Greenacre a call tomorrow.
  2. Shotley? In the middle of nowhere pretty much...
  3. I don't really have any photos apart from a couple poor quality ones unfortunately. I understand it's christmas time, hopefully I'll be able to find something in the new year...
  4. I searched tree surgeon on google maps and most of them but still haven't heard much back, do you think it's better to call them?
  5. There must be something about... I'm willing to travel a bit and even work some trial days. Help me out people

  10. That's me mate! Cheers, you too... I'm sure I'll see you tomorrow.
  11. Fairly new to the industry, just looking to get some work and get into it. I've got 2 and a half weeks left of my level 3 10 week course, so far I've got CS 30 & 31 but hopefully by the end of the course I will have passed 38 & 39, I've also got a clean driving license and a first aid certificate. I've worked outside since I was about 15 (now 20) and am a hard worker. I've also got experience in teleporters, dumpers, loading shovel and a small amount in a 360 although I don't hold tickets for them. Willing to travel and negotiate on wages as I'm new. Will send CV on request. Thanks.
  12. Thanks very much, I'll do that today!
  13. Okay that sounds fine for me, I'm living at home with parents so I can live on that to start with! I'm in Suffolk if that makes a difference? What's the best way to get work, just send emails out to companies ring them up etc?
  14. I've got a bloke I can get some experience with, felling some pines on his land for free. How much would you say is a reasonable day rate to charge for somebody with not a great deal of experience, and with 30, 31, 38 and 39?
  15. That to me sounds like sound advice, thanks for that mate.
  16. I've done a bit of tree work but only dragging brash, helping lower branches etc. I am a hard worker and have been labouring since I left school so I'm hoping people will realise that if they give me a chance. I'm thinking I need to buy a ground saw, fuel can, oil, maintenance tools, silky, climbing kit and a top handled saw?
  17. Just after some help regarding becoming a subby. I finish my course in 3 weeks, I've got 30 and 31 but hopefully will have 38 and 39 by the end! I've got my own ppe but what else would I need to start off with?
  18. Bumping back an old thread, hope that's okay? I've just started working out from today, I've always been strong for my size as I've been labouring etc since I was about 15, I'm now 20 and want to gain size! My mate's got a multi gym that I'm going to use, maybe pressups etc as well? I'm taking one my protein total gainer in the morning and another in the evening. Have you any tips for me?
  19. I'd be aiming to get that mile and a half run time to around the 10 minute mark! I ran it in 10 minutes when I done my selection at Pirbright and I wasn't THAT fit, I mean I wasn't no where near the back of the pack but there was lads miles ahead of me... Try some longer runs say 3 miles every other day and test your mile and a half once a fourtnight and watch it improve
  20. Looking good mate, haven't been out for a while but am hoping to get out alot this Winter! Butch

  25. I know, they probably don't expect you to buy everything at first though. They may give me another kitlist when I have to to my tickets?
