  1. Why not just make a bouldering wall that way there's no chance of them climbing high when your not around. My bro made a tower of pain in his back garden for bouldering training on. Its a brilliant idea we had a climbing wall at my parents house when i was little, we also used to abseil out the attic window and srt back up
  2. Amazing furniture mate. I'd love some stuff like in my house
  3. Have you court a strand of the core with your fid? If you have you'll be pushed to do anything!
  4. Get in touch with Peter mate he'll tell you everything you need to know
  5. prehaps i shouldn't joke then, although i'd have to do 4 times as many journeys to tip of so it would probably be a false economy
  6. Buy a 460 mate it's an awesome saw!, you wont be dissapointed. Quite a few of the guy's who i work for have bought one after using mine.
  7. is that just before you's ans steve's wages or all wages ben?
  8. And it looks alot tidier than the splice you have to do on fly
  9. notice how flat the eye is, like a 16 strand splice where all the core's removed. This rope's a kernmantle construction and it share's the load between the sheath and the core. So you couldn't remove any of the core, so i'm sure thats why they us the sling?
  10. I think you can now get the fly rope with a sclice or what ever its called? i think they take the core out and put a sling maybe dyneema in and bury the sheath and then stitch it up? dont quote me
  11. Steve bullman used to use it i think? it does look a nice rope it seems thicker than 11mm though. When i saw it against NE tachyon it seemed the thickest? i maybe wrong
  12. I've had a little go on one, it works exactly the same as a hitch climber but it won't bind when wet. I don't know how it will operate when chogging, or when your ascending and get really close to a thick branch and there's a chance the zig zag could get bent sideways. Its really really smooth for decending on though:thumbup:
  13. Dom is a brilliant worker I've worked with him on a regular basis for a while now, he has the potential to be an amazing climber too
  14. On my first crane job I ended up with a nice beech but it rained bad all afternoon
  15. You should have had the other half of the reel
  16. You shouldn't really use static rope in a cinch
  17. Get some velocity for a lanyard and its cheap?
