  1. I thought it was to take you out of the loop so to speak. if the strops on your side d's then you are effectivly in a loop and if the cut goes wrong and splits its going to squash you against the tree if the strops on the front d then your out of the loop. just my newbie opinion
  2. I'm sure i'll be fine with what i've bought if i don't like them i can always sell them and get some others
  3. its not the cap, i've took the side off and wiped all the oil off then left it, there was a little bit so have wiped it down again and there doesn't seem to be any hopefully it's just excess what come out of the oil feed?
  4. nice one i'm sure i'll be fine with them. also i bought a new 200t at the arb show i haven't cut wood with it yet i've had it running but afterwards maybe up to a day it has a little pool of oil under it is that just whats splashed around inside the casing and its seeping out i dont know, whats your opinion? as i dont know whether to send it back

  6. there buckingham straight shaft i was just wondering if the twisted shafts were better. there my first one's so i suppose i could buy some new one's in a couple of years its not like im doing loads of dismantaling at the moment

I ordered a pair of spikes the type with the L shaped leather at the arb show the other week and got a pair of velcro straps thrown in for nothing.The thing is when they've arrived there straight, now i'm new to climbing and have only done spiking on my 38 and 39 i can't remember which i used then. Is there much difference?
  8. its only got a 1/3 of a tank of oil. i think i may as well send it back
  9. it looks to maybe leaking from the gasket underneath that runs parralell to the dogs teeth
  10. i've just bought myself my first 200t and have filled it up with oil and it appears to be leaking from underneath? is this normal or should i send it back? any feed back greatly recieved

  13. Hi everyone, I'm a newly qualified climber living in the Nottingham area. I've been working for a arborist company for 7 months, but recently the owner went to live in australia for 5 months. I've put myself through my cs30,31,38 and 39. I have some experience climbing and would like to find employment with the prospect of working up to climbing full time.
