  7. Beech i am taking down next week,plentiful fungus!
  8. client seems quite open to bringing his trees into managable decline,the 1st beech is my major cocern because of the 2 houses,think a reduction on each might be the way forward?did you get sorted for cork oak?i never had a chance to get down to the exeter one.

Just been to look at this Beech,it has what i believe to be pholiota,its quite nasty is it not?trying to work out whats for the best given close proximity of targets? i will of course be removing gravel and terran whatever happens! and is the last photo merripilus?tree over hanging hv lines and garden. thanks

  13. Got a whopper of a dying beech to fell,all sorts of fungus all over it,am i correct ib thinking its more likely to be spalted because of this? If so does any one require any?if not it ll go for firewood. Its near Taunton.will get some pictures tommorrow.
  14. it works a treat,top off,put hose pipe in,fill with water,empty,cut,job done!

  16. any time im pricing and get the go ahead there and then i will sever any ivy on the trees,even a few weeks dead seems to make a difference.
  17. love taking my dog on forestry stuff,private gardens not so much,ends up crapping in front of clients or chases their cat!!

  20. Elm is seriously underated! Gives stag oak a run for its money any day of the week
