Aye, we've got more than enough jokers, chancers and attention whores of our own on the Europe in or out thread! ( that's a joke brexiters)
  5. More Glastonbury surveying/d wooding, spot the climber sticking out the top of the stone circle oak?
  6. "If" that makes sense
  7. As in grind whole spike from tip then file new point in fresh metal? (I'd that makes sense??)
  8. Aye, there has been a bit of sanctimonious bs on this thread
  9. I love my spikes, first year of climbing I was unsure, now I'd wear em on a TPO 10% beech thin if I could get away with it
  10. F maple
  11. Same, getting ill/injured will happen sooner or later

    Tiny echo!

I've used one with standard bar and chain against my 150 with drilled exhaust and it doesn't come close, be interested to try it with the stihl bar/ chain combo
  17. Ha, like it!
  18. Don't bother, a winch for £60 is going to be awful
  19. Have you adjusted the anvil? If the gaps too big it won't chip well at all
  20. It's joined with four bolts at the base, get them right and then use jack legs on the outside edges to push the top together, I was suprised how simple it was
  21. This is ours, got it second hand and moved it/moved in 4 weeks ago. It needs a new bit of cladding on the front but we are getting there!
  22. It hasn't had a ticket on it for a couple of years but has done very little since its last one, that crack has been there for a long time judging by the state of the metal! It was quite hard to spot but you'd like to think an inspection would be meticulous
  23. Was having a thorough check over my MEWP this afternoon to prepare it for loler ticket, spotted a hairline crack at mounting point on one of the Rams, waggled a screw driver about and the end of the ram came off! It's obviously been cracked for a long time but has been lolered, just a heads up to really keep up with personal checks!
  24. It always rains at Glastonbury'
  25. Ive got a boughton hydraulic winch spare if anyone's interested, a vh6, same as on an rb44 I think
