  1. Reasheath in Nantwich or Llysfasi College google them both
  2. and they also send you a free bar and chain with your order lol top service, can't fault them at all, i'm just glad i live nowhere near the shop otherwise i would be properly skint! By the way i sent the bar and chain back, for anybody who was about to stomp on me for keeping them!
  3. Saw one today on the husky stand at Woodfest, the guy said they are waiting for stihl to release the 201t then it'll be out soon after. Not a reassuring sight when the guy demoing the saw took 5 mins to get it running, just didnt want to start! Just hope the full production ones aren't like that....

    North Wales

As far as Stihl gear, they can't be beaten on price locally and certainly when they knock an extra 15% off because its there birthday a MS 362 for £500 with the VAT:thumbup:
  5. Get there early, if the parking is where i think it is, if you leave it late it'll be a fair trek

Thats awesome guys:thumbup1:, I may need a couple of cutters later in the year. I'm based in the Deeside area.
  7. Just wondering how many cutters are there on here that live in North Wales?
  8. what sort of size tree's you looking to plant?
  9. just google'd the englebert strauss pants, they look good, pretty reasonable money too.. Many people wearing them? If so what do you think about them

    Fuel can

Stihl can with the non spill caps, been using the caps for over 18 months without a sign of sticking or leaking.

    Harkie

Phil, i'm well pleased with the smock, breathability and waterproof levels are excellent, the only gripe i have is the height of the collar at the front, i think it would be better cut lower at the front because it can't be zipped all the way up and it gets caught under ear muff's when they are pushed down, other than that i'm well impressed a thumbs up from me
  12. i always set the oil pump so that there is a covering over the bottom of the tank when i fill up.
  13. I have had the Meindl Wadlaufer for 12 months now, I have wide feet and they dont bother me. Nice boots reasonable weight and support especially when fitted with 'Superfeet Green' insoles, I will have another pair of Meindls when I'm ready. Just wish 'Lundhags' made chainsaw boots, now they would be immense:001_cool:
  14. take a look at this and it's not to far from the Wirral Woodland Skills Centre ... coppice, greenwood and woodland courses 2011
  15. if the training we get over here (nptc) would be enough to get work in the states or canada? I quite fancy a working holiday
  16. get yourself some sandlewood soap and shower in the morning with it, i've never had a bite since i started using it
  17. the last lot i bought cost me £13 with the vat for 5L, that was about 12 months ago, where abouts in wales are you?
  18. a proper measuring cup to make sure you get your 2 stroke mix right! And something you can't buy, common sense. Never do what you dont feel confident in doing, tree's aren't very forgiving if you get it wrong! Good luck with your course and enjoy it, dont be scared to ask questions, the more you learn the better.
  19. I was wondering if any of you guys had seen the new stihl gear, if so whats it like? I'm in the market for some type A trousers, dont want bank busting prices, £120 max with zipped vents, any ideas'
  20. I only lay hedges between november and march, wouldn't even think of laying a hedge now.
  21. Give trading standards a call, i'm sure they would be interested in a bit of mis-selling

    Harkie

i had a good look at some of the harkie range today, first thing that comes to the eye is how well made it is. The smock looks bombproof, really tough outer material, good zip's, taped seams, really impressed so i ordered one. The harness looks like a real comfortable affair, plenty of padding on the back and leg loops. The gaffs look awesome, the steels ones are a bit on the heavy side but the aluminium ones are probaly half the weight, both have really deep felt lined padding and plenty of support in the stirrup. Just wish i had more cash to spend
  23. as has been said, ferrets and harris hawks, i know a guy not too far from you who could help, pm me if you want his contact details
