  1. No Steve I have sorted my business so that i do alot less hours than i used to, i am not one of the life is hard brigade, but what i am saying is if the boy, wants/needs more money he as got to work for it and Andy gave the boy that chance. If i want shiney new gear i have to work for it and i guess you do too.
  2. I would of expected Andys boy to rip Andys hand off, as the first post says it was the boy moanig about his lack of money Andy offered him a way to make up the shortfall at nearly three times more per hour than his day job. If someone offered me a Saturday at three times my normal day rate i would be there every saturday without fail.

  7. I would give it a miss mate, youve got alot of work felling, extracting, logging and selling for a 50:50 share of the profits imo.
  8. Hi Likeit, my main business is firewood, the grass cutting would just be for a bit of extra bunce in the summer months. It wont be cash as he wants to pay through is company, and to be fair if he does not like the price i quote, hes more than welcome to go elsewhere. Saying that it would come in handy as all helps to pay the rent on my yard through the summer

  13. I have just been asked by a chap in the village (who owns several properties)to quote him to cut the grass, there are six houses(different size lawns) there is also a small amount of grass to cut at his office site. Ive never done any grass cutting, apart from my own,so what is the going rate per hour,i know this will vary up and down the country, im just after a rough guide. Thanks. Egg
