Not any more, i had a long time working on the motorways 7 nights a week(12 hour shifts) then many more years on call, weekends, evenings, bank holidays,christmas, etc, so now i only work mon-fri, and as few hours as possible:thumbup:

why, because it allowed me to save enough money to buy my bungalow "cash" no mortgage at the age of 36, but to be fair i started living in a trailer because the work i did at the time (motorway maintenance) required me to be up and down the country all the time.

I lived in caravans for over ten years before buying my bungalow a few years ago. I had three hobbys in that time all bought new and swapped in every three years, they are a good trailer, but if i was to buy another i would go for a Tabbert, they are built better than the hobby(and are alot more expensive new) as for height about 7 foot 6

Have you tried "ecolots" there was someone on there selling oak in Taunton. Its in the round wood section.

I think it would be fairer if the company at least paid you what they thought you had earned for the trial day even if it only covered your exspencies. But if you need the job go and show them what you can do, and hopefully you,ll get it. All the best. EGG

As reclaimed timber i would guess it as been treated/painted, in which case i would not burn it indoors as it will give off some real nasty fumes. -
As your story tells, its not big or clever to put live cartridges in to a trip mine/alarm imo.
