so how come the 3 is ok but the 2 is a nono,, my 2 has arrived, and i'm looking forward to trying it out,,it's really no different from using a full ascender,, just less metalwork? or am i mistaken,,

think part of the issue is retailers (in general) have used the vat increase to disguise price hikes,,, for example,, tyre prices going up as much as 18% overnight, fuel, etc etc. you're right 2.5 % vat isnt much,, but the rest of it is a bit of a p take,, fuel gone up over 10p here in a week,,

it would be nice to have a map of suppliers like this as it can be tricky top find at short notice,, i spent most of yesterday trying to find a local store that i could get strops/ shackles from... 4 hours in total,,, ended up in a shop less than 5 miles away.
