    prices.

sorry but this argument could be used on EVERYTHING,, from rice, to cars, to lightbulbs to books,, with every product there is a supply chain, from manufacture to end consumer, and every part of that chain adds a bit on for their living,, the first person in a supply chain cannot really be too bothered about how much the guy at the end is selling it for,, unless they decide they want to sell at that end too,,,and then it just winds you up.. the brand i used to run used to turnover $75 million,,, but at retail it was $250 million,,, it's just the way it is,,,the factory's that made our stuff werent seeing anywhere near 75k yet they were happy,,

    Helmet cams

there's a group buy on the go pro HD at the moment,,, very good camera, and you can get mounts for everything from the car to a surfboard..
  19. max, I'll get some pics today when i get the mountain of wood in the back of it out, Pete, part of the reason for buying a small chipper was so that i could carry it on my own trailer, the greenmech sales guy was very proud of the fact that the CS100 would fit nicely into the back of a transit connect, so it IS supposed to be used in other vehicles All i'm suggesting is that they have specific tie down points,, and that these are marked as such..
  20. i've had a mount added to the front of the tipper so that gloria is pinned at the front,, but i still then have to tie through the hopper at the back,, this is effectively trying to snap it in half,,,
  21. the one thing i've noticed with the wee chippers is the difficulty in tieing them onto the trailer,, my greenmech is a nightmare,, very hard to tie it down without stressing it one way or another,, something the manufacturers should adress really proper tie down points...

    A winter tale

A farmer goes out to his field one morning only to find all of his Cows frozen solid. As far as the eye can see are cows, motionless like statues. It had been a bitterly cold night, but he'd never thought anything like this would happen. The realisation of the situation then dawned on him. With his entire livestock gone, how would he make ends meet? How would he feed his wife and kids? How would he pay the mortgage? He sat with his head in his hands, trying to come to terms with his impending poverty. Just then, an elderly woman walked by, "What's the matter?" asked the old lady. The farmer gestured toward the frozen cows and explained his predicament to the woman. Without hesitation the old woman smiled and began to rub one of the cows noses. After a few seconds the cow began to twitch and was soon back to normal and chewing the cud. One by one, the old woman defrosted the cows until the whole field was full of healthy animals. The farmer was delighted and asked the woman what she wanted as a repayment for her deed. She declined his offer and walked off across the field. A passer-by who had witnessed the whole thing approached the farmer. "You know who that was don't you?" asked the passer-by. "No" said the farmer "who?" * * * * "That was Thora Hird."
