  3. here is some pics of what ive been up to, and why im searching for these saws, the twin pictured badly needs a donor saw although we have had it running this week, the 171 is running like a dream, but we havent started on the dolmar yet

  11. probably get shot down for this but i dont like it, too complicated to tie, and can be hard to undo, i use an anglers loop instead

  13. thanks mate, i took it at the Weyhill hawk conservancy where we have free membership as we took our 90ft platform there to put up a swift tower for them

  15. yeah toe spikes what he welded up and bolted onto a pair of Nike's, that was back in the day though when i was bout 14, i remember spending saturdays with my 2 older bros making spikes in the workshop and then timing them on a stopwatch in the local wood, i think at that time Jeremy Barrel was the fastest out, wat is a quick time now on an 80 ft pole? p.s. Do you by any chance know Andy Nicol and Will Heal?
  16. so what height are the poles and what is a good time these days, i remember on of my bros, Steve Butler, did an 80 ft pole in 11.9 but are the poles taller now?
