  1. i'm really struggling to see how you can ever prove that God dosent exist, yes you can offer me "evidence" that would point to him not existing, but to 100% prove that he dosent exist, How is this possible?
  2. I'm sorry you feel that way, but i have enjoyed tonights discussion and hope that i haven't offended anyone, i've only sought to put my viewpoint across as honestly and besy i can:001_smile:
  3. Fair enough Skyhuck, there are some questions which i cant answer, but i hav tried to be open and honest in answering all ur questions, now i hav one for you, If you die tonight (perish the thought), and you discover that there is a God (remember we cannot 100% disprove His existance), and God says to you, "Why should i let you into heaven when you did not believe in me, nor trust that my Son died for your to take away your sin?" Then what would you say to him?
  4. Just one question, who made god??????????????? Ah, that old chestnut, well as you will be aware the Bible would tell us that He is eternal (he never began to exist as he always existed), outside the bounds of space and more importantly time, and as I believe it is the direct revelation of God i believe that it is telling me the truth.
  5. Take a closer look at Job (the whole book makes excelent reading), see how it was Satan who actually treated Job badly, see what God did to Job after Satan had finished with him, read Jobs conclusions on the subject, might change your mind....
  6. Were going deep here, i think its good to remember that science has (and always will have limits) it cannot answer the big questions What is truth? What is the meaning of life? Why are we here? Where did that first speck of matter come from? I cannot prove to you that God exists, but you cannot prove to me that he doesn't. So you too have faith as you believe in something which you cannot (and never will be able to prove)
  7. I wouldn't disregard things that havent been observed when explaining why God is NOT responsible for all of creation
  8. Sure is, just where he left it:thumbup:
  9. i didnt say gene mutation doesn't exist, i said that it has never been observed as being responsible for taking one species and making it another As to Noah's ark, check out the dimensions its massive, better still go and take a closer look at it where it is today
  10. Sorry, it was not intentional. Yes i do believe that Adam and eves children married each other as at this time in creation the genetic potential contained in the 1st man and woman would hav been enormous, and would hav been sufficient for the whole world. (By the way genetic potential is only gonna decrese in a closed system according to the laws of thermodynamics) And yes i do believe in a young earth as the scientific evidence is overwhelming. I could go in to it but id need all night:thumbup:
  11. Do you really believe that mankind and the animal kingdom evolved over millions of years by a process of mutation in the genes which has never been observed, recorded, documented, or even hinted at by the behavior which genes exhibit. Do you really believe that the proof of evolution "the fossil record" solidifys this worldview when the worlds authority on fossils (Colin Patterson) says that not one of them has a watertight argument. Do you really deny the Genesis flood when the layers of strata are packed with fossils of species still around today, and many archaologists have described them as a mass graveyard? Do you really deny God's existance when you hold your children close on a summers evening and wonder just why man exists and what his place in the universe is?
  12. For ever since the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky. Through everything God made, they can clearly see his invisible qualities--his eternal power and divine nature. So they have no excuse for not knowing God. Romans 1:20
  13. The evidence is all around us, prehaps we just dont want to see it.
  14. good post, i dont want an argument, only robust debate:thumbup: refering back to your point about me using the Bible to solidify my worldview, i do this as i 100% believe the Bible to be Gods revelation to man, as such it is a solid rock on which i can base my life, the bible says about itself, "Forever thy word is established in Heaven" (Psalms)
  15. True, apart from the fact that its not undamaged, Revelation tells me that He still has the scars
  16. God raised him from the dead, because it was not possible that He should be held by it. Acts 2:24
  17. Upsetting to read some of the comments on here when God gave everything He had to bring us back to Him:confused1:
