  1. I won't be paying for it anyway Drew! Its up to her what she wants to buy! If you are so keen for her to have a treemotion you could always donate one mate!
  2. Sad times.. I feel your pain:laugh1: Is it ordered from the States or Gustharts pre-order?
  3. Im picking up one of these that I will be modifying slightly to do the job until the spacer is available. Petzl Ultralegere Available from Outside.co.uk Not bad for a couple of quid.
  4. Cheers Paul, Treeflex is looking good so far based on most peoples opinions. Will have to get her to try one out.
  5. I wouldnt say skinny hahah:blushing:
  6. Are the spacers available anywhere as an individual part yet? I don't want to hurt the shiny lol
  7. Loving the direction this thread is going in... haha
  8. YES!
  9. Yea that's it! Pint offer retracted!
  10. Could be, she is a busy girl though! AA is more likely or the two, will buy you a drink if we get down... if you teach her how to set it up! I CBA!
  11. Having the same problem with her using my treemagic. I think a trip to an arb suppliers is in order.
  12. Thanks Janey:biggrin: What do you use? Useful point about sizing. Treeflex makes sense as it looks to be very adjustable and come in various sizes. Thanks for the help so far everyone. Sequoia looks like a good one to try too as the adjustability is still there but with 'settings'. Probably a good thing as she aint big on patience!!
  13. Me too, I was just wondering if any were specifically better. Seem to be very few ladies on here who can comment though. In a way I guess most harnesses will be better for men than women as the designers make the harness for the largest market..
  14. You are tempting me sOoOo much! If someone were to say that a treemagic is the perfect female harness when adjusted right it would be a done deal! HINT HINT:lol: Haha Tommy, you will be in trouble when she finds out!
  15. HAHa Drew you make me laugh. If I was going to cough up 300quid for a harness it would be for me!!! Then she can change the magic setting on my treemagic as much as she likes!! In all honesty that may be an option. WeeDee, she has a rockclimbing harness but when you hang around for more than about 5 minutes it cuts off the blood circulation.. Plus no D rings! A female opinion would be good. Not seen littletree about much recently though:confused1:
  16. Cheers brushcutter.. I tried her in my old T23, she didn't like it.. Said it crushed her hips, so we are probably looking at a leg loop harness. Should have said that in the original post. Sorry.
  17. Hi everyone, My girlfriend is starting to get very keen on climbing and we are thinking of getting a harness for her. Any recommendations of harnesses that are particularly good for a female form. She has quite wide hips and skinny waist and as a result my harness rides up a lot on her and pinches round the lower ribs. Plus I don't want her changing my treemagic from my magic setting:sneaky2: Any comments greatly appreciated. Cheers.
  18. I used a 5mm (outer diameter) piece of rubber fuel line in my new one. Works a treat but added some rubber hose pipe over the outside too to protect the eye, it also helps keep it open a bit more.
  19. Looks like a lovely spot Tom. Will have to get down there soon. Nice pics.

Knut or VT for me I agree the knut can be really sensitive if you get it right.
  21. Goodleaf (Isle of Wight) and Mighty Oak (cornwall) seem to make it work. I think it is a full time affair for them though. Speaking to Paul McCathie from Goodleaf last week, he said most of the work is in the summer. Maybe doing both is best. Slay trees in the winter and just swing about for fun in the summer and get paid! I think Paul said his ratio is 4 student to one instructor.
  22. I'm sure you are right. Spoke to Paul, should get down to the 29th May climb or the 18th of June one.. Maybe both. Would be good to put names to faces. Will PM you when I know which one im going to.
  23. Exactly what I have done already. One neodymium magnet and the jobs a good'un. May need two for anything bigger than a 270mm gomtaro. Maybe a stronger magnet like the 4/5mm thick ones:) Holds it in the sheath even when upside down.. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/5-Strong-neodymium-round-disk-magnets-20x3-mm-NdFeB-/130471479746?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item1e60b4c9c2#ht_1515wt_906 half the price and you can have 5 times as many handsaws
  24. Nice video Taylor. That didn't look much fun.
