  3. So do companies allocate a specific time to ensure loler/puwer checks are done or are employees expected to squeeze them in whilst on site ?

  10. Was just wondering how many of the employed climbers have to keep a written record of their kit inspections. I find it a pain with the most basic kit, must take ages for those with all the gadgets.

  14. If you pull the leaf apart on a dogwood you get little silky threads from the veins, but this isn't one anyway.

  18. Standing dead elm and yew I always have for my self, then ash and syc as i can get em dry in a year, or anything with nice straight grain or anything that doesn't need ringing up off the pile.
  19. We just used a brush at college many moons ago, painted it on.
  20. Not sure if this adds anything but these two are still standing after Mondays storm, one obviously has less sail than the other. Both are also in long ditton where most of the beech seem to be infected .

    Thanks for the replies on this, I'm inclined to go with the aesculin poisoning as I think the foam did have a bluey tinge as A hippo does when chipping on a wet day and have found a couple of references like the Cherokee one. I will certainly be recommending a gradual water change before restocking but its probably best they get a pro in before spending on any fish.

    Think he did go in wearing waders so plenty of stirring occurred, not sure what the filters are but it didn't smell too offensive when I returned this morning and I did have a probe about with the net
