  1. That's reminded me big ammer, heard about a lad hung his helmet on the hinge of the back door of the pick up and apparently it was slightly tipped up and the lads had all been taking a slash in the back so it all ran into his lid haha

I had a customer saying she wasn't paying me a short while ago mate, we done a really nice reduction and a pollard she said she hated the pollard but it was exactly what she asked for and I explained how bad it would look. It started with her saying her husband was really angry and that he was rough etc I just kept my cool and il meet her husband at the job to talk about it. I got a phone call saying sorry for any inconvenience and thanks so much for the work and she's passed my number on to two other people. Turns out she was heavily pregnant and hormonal ( her words ).
  4. Hi dave, when I saw the post I had a bad feeling it would be you, I'm sorry to hear this and if i'm offered your machine will certainly let you know. I did think when we worked at your place the machine was vulnerable, I should of mentioned something hope you get it back, Lawrence.

  7. Haha classis my old boss told me similair one, he said to the youngen "get a shovel and shovel up that pile of sawdust and chuck it over the hedge" so he did the sawdust and the shovel.
  8. Haha aye me dad got a lad with that one but with the stihl disc cutter thing he was running down the road. Remember on the same site a lad got sent looking for a long stand, the fork lift driver said you won't find one mate ask the site manager if he's got a couple of hard slaps for you theyl work haha

My mate was telling me the other day about a youngen that just started on his building site, he got asked to fill the dumper up with red diesel and he came back about an hour later splashing diesel everywhere cos he'd gone and filled the bucket up haha. Wondered if anyone had some other funny ones to share.

  14. Can't beat havin a new one and a spare mate if you don't get one at the show you might regret it if the saw breaks and you gotta pay full price

  17. I'm with you tommer both makes are just as good I just pick which saw feels the best and can take some stick I've got an equal mix apart from stihl climbing saw is the only one for me.

  20. They are pap like not all the stihl are though I've got a mixture of stihl and husqvarna saws only ones I hate are the 441 and the husky climbing saw they really are sh1t
  21. Someone just pu this on made me laugh. Some people say he is simply an author struggling to get his book published * other people say he is ex forumla 3 racing driver Ben Collins * all we know is he's unemployed!

  23. I've worked with a few lads who had fourtracks and couldn't say anything bad about them
  24. Or you get the ones where your waiting for the reply and some cowboy just does the job in the meantime
