  4. Cheers flamin ace I never bothered learning all this the shop knows what we have on our saws so I just go in and say I want a chain for that:blushing: it's a total waste of money think the chains work out less than half the price if you knock them up yourself
  5. Sounds good to me tree beard cheers, what about the drive sprockets do husky have them to fit the 0.063 gauge?
  6. Il give it a try tomorrow unless I find out different then mate the bar on my 440 is nakered but I just got Oregon bar for it il see if the stihl chain runs ok
  7. It's amazing what will stand back up isn't it mate? I was called out to an emergency job once it was a pop was on the other side of a small river in flood and had gone across the road, it was about three foot across the bottom and I cut the stem at about 20 foot and it just slowly stood back up couldn't believe it

  10. Sorry lads don't think I explained properly I'm not swapping bars around just I have huskys with Oregon bars and chains on apart from the new one, and stihls with stihl bars and chains on but just got Oregon bars for the stihl ground saws basically I'm gonna get a reel of Oregon chain and run them all on the same Chain and bars and don't want to throw away good bars until I change them all round if this all makes sense
  11. as the title says but also wondering about the husqvarna bars and chains etc? :confused1:just i have a mixture of everything and just got a new 372xp from jonesie and that has the husky bar and chain, and what about the drive sprocket does that need to be different?

  14. Can't imagine you lads up there would put up with him being about for long
  15. I've worked with a few lasses over the years j and they all got on fine, only thing I found awkward was if they were ever struggling on an embankment or at lifting something I used to worry about offending them by saying to u need a hand, but I suppose it's obviously worse not asking haha. I would say go for the bigger firms too they seem to accommodate women better in my experience and the lasses I worked with done a mixture of on the tools and pricing etc, like lilltree said women like to see other women doin the job too.
  16. I like your style mate

  20. Aye there was the big cavity in the middle mate was handy the garden was already smashed up I just didn't go too high up dropped the two stems on top of the one that already broke off, tree was down in three cuts. It's scary to think it could of fallen on the house and killed someone
