  1. He sounds like a machine mate:) worst day I had was felling oak skidding out up a big embankment with the Bedford and we were also burning the brash! It was the most humid day I can remember working in
  2. Would the tree benefit from cobra bracing Tony? Or would it rely on it too much and fail to react in it's own way for strength?

  8. me and the wife on our honeymoon in Gardenstown NE Scotland in april was supposed to be cold was red hot:biggrin:with the twins still in the belly:laugh1:
  9. Like I said mate had them all they stretched me massaged me etc to no no avail but the physio didn't even touch me just looked and could tell what was wrong and gave the advice how to help it:) IMO any painkillers or drugs are the worst things you can take because if your like me they will mask the pain and you will just work flat out and make the problem worse. Pain killers work if you sit still all day not in our job
  10. I thought so but I reckon little rob is on to a winner
  11. Ive tried all the different things to fix my back and find physio's are the best. Wouldn't rest it too much mate as I find my back is worst when I have time off work and have a lie in etc. Obviously if your struggling to put your socks on you need rest but keep your self gently active:) if it's lower back I find a rolled up towel behind my lower back while sitting upright/driving helps loads
  12. Where I've looked it was stupid money:001_rolleyes:
  13. We are in the process of sorting a back for our new truck. I want to make the sides up out of the GRP type stuff. Looked on Internet and the first site I looked on offered 10 by 6 ft sheets for around a grand:sneaky2: So today I went to a commercial breakers yard and got a sheet from an artic lorry it is half the lentgh of the lorry and paid 25quid:thumbup: Just thought I'd give yous a heads up on where to find some sheets and hopefully save you some coin:thumbup1:
