  1. Exhaust off, try and get it out there, but prob have to pull barrel off.
  2. Take clutch off and check without it and oil pump drive. Does it run normally without bar/chain and side cover on, could be a problem with chain brake. Or take to dealer it was bought from.
  3. Plenty of the new money types in Aberdeen, too much oil money to not very bright people.
  4. Probably find a couple of escaped clutches behind there as well.

    Jokes???

    Looks more like copralite
  6. At least easy now to crawl under and give it a check over
  7. See there is a new 3120 on gumtree at the moment for £950 in devon, if anyone interested. https://www.gumtree.com/p/chainsaws/husqvarna-3120xp-chainsaw-brand-new/1328828207 Hes also got a little used MS660 for £700. https://www.gumtree.com/p/chainsaws/stihl-ms660-chainsaw/1328827099
  8. Anyone remeber crossply SATS, they were interesting on early rangerovers in the wet, I know not supposed to put crossplies on R/R but those were the days
  9. Not exactly low ground pressure, working to the principle of tread lightly. Suppose they didn't want to make a mess of the track
  10. Know the feeling, just had payment for work done in October.
  11. can you have a detachable strap/chain to hook them up out of the way when you go to tip. You see it on tar lorries etc
  12. Yes eggs from when invoice is sent to them and normally has to be in by a certain date in the month, miss that and wait another month. If your very lucky you may get your money in 45 days, but don't hold your breath. I'm on 30 days but sometimes it's nearer 90 days. I'm not too bad with the ones I work for as I can load price up to allow for the delay, but it does not help you sleep better.
  13. I agree looks like a green operator, just a bit wild with the swings. Just don't buy the demo machine is what you are saying
  14. Ah but a chipper should not be running flat out at 50mph unless its being nicked. Depends if the sump and oil supply been modified to cope with running at angles and surge. Some have at more expense at initial purchase some don't at customers expense later down the line. A number of recent threads on v-twin grinders with a damaged cylinder because of the operating angles.
  15. How long will that engine last being waved about like that
  16. Think 660 could be had with high output oiler. BY blocked do you mean with sawdust, is it your cutting style. Find it happens when chogging down, especially if cutting right through from one side and weight of chog tries to nip bar.
  17. On blue tongue as well, never been keen on marlow ropes personally
  18. Hard to say what to do. Main thing is your in one piece , having listened to your own warnings. What were the other climbers thoughts. Have a look another day you may feel better about it.
  19. Would have been better if charging whilst towing gennie on trailer
  20. I have a 395, open to offers, little use 28" bar. Prefer ported 660
  21. Just go for the 30 degrees now. Otherwise it will still be crap. Sorry to be brutal Just make sure all the cutters are the same length
