  1. Well my artic load of timber was cancelled and the rain poured down relentlessly so I decided on a course of housework! After getting fed up of lugging the Hoover around and faced with the stairs I decided to mount the Hoover on a stihl strimmer harness! And it works a treat. The Hoover shown is a Miele TT 5000! Version two will be a whole body harness with attachments for dusters etc.
  2. Like Western days, try forest park and garden, five mins from Jct 32, that's ten mins from Newport. Give em a ring to find out what they've got in stock.
  3. This is my "enforced lunge"! I've been told to lunge five times a day for 15s each time.
  4. Since we all like a big tree and a big challenge, I thought I'd add a few pics of a monster that came down in the high winds three weeks ago. Its the first of 30 trees we have finally got around to starting on.
  5. Defiantly catch up soon. I'd thought I'd ask if anyone wanted it on here first, it's always good to sell to likeminded people.
  6. Hay, firewood man. I've got 140t to process and I'm running out of time, been too busy to process. It's all stored safely high above the city, infact it's behind a pub that has the same name as a well know firewood dealer in Cardiff! If it doesn't fetch a good price then I'll drag it to mine and store it. I take it your not interested?
  7. I wish you wouldn't carp on about this, this timber is perching on the edge and needs to go so tuna in and make a bid!
  8. Approximately 60t of cord available. 25% Beech 25% Ash 25% Sycamore The remaining is mostly Birch and Oak with a few sticks of Willow. Ave diameter is 350mm with the rest being 100mm upto 600mm. All in 3m lengths. Will sell as a complete load. You will need to organise your own haulage. It's five minutes off junction 33 (Cardiff) on the M4.
  9. We've been running this Alpine from Riko for about seven years. Never failed to amaze us what it can do or where it can go. Road legal and very nippy! 35hp and twice we've pulled the land rover out of the mud with it. I've got a Lenar in the yard, it's from China but earns it's keep. Have been looking at the Land Legend range with a loader but not sure what they are like.
  10. And another thing, if this happened in whales then we'd be sewin you.
  11. Well I've been working all day, and get home to read all this, if you ask me it's all a load of Pollocks!
  12. Heavy rain brought this limb down about lunchtime, job and finish was muted, never seen them work so fast!
  13. They asked me about my drinking habits, do I get leery or fall asleep after drinking. I asked why he asked, police are conceded that at house parties a lot of shotgun owners either show off there guns or fall asleep after drinking giving others unauthorised access to gun cabinet. I said it wasn't a problem as all my mates bring there own shooters! They asked if the misses was aggressive and would she have access again I simply said she wouldn't have access to the keys. They asked about experience etc. Be confident and not cocky say your considering joining a gun club. Just don't say you want a semi auto with a seven cartridge mag on it! And don't dress like this
  14. Hi Fisherman, Do you have a picture of the damage?
  15. Steady on that's my sister your on about! I'm sure one or two of the blokes on here know her!!!
  16. I've got three, have a look if your bored http://www.Leechpoolwildlife.co.uk http://www.Leechpoolholdings.co.uk http://www.Leechpoollogs.co.uk
  17. If anyone wants to live in a caravan then make me an offer for this, 40ft long, a bit grubby because it's been on a building site. Would make a great yard office, play room, brothel or pub! It's at my sisters. Of course you'd have to collect it! Any offer considered!
  18. Some more updates, check the hole out with bees using it.
  19. So where on Earth do you live?
  20. When you consider how heavy a 40inch long by 18inch diameter price of beech is, I'm happy only to have the misses lift it a foot off the ground rather that two or three feet!
  21. How bizarre is that, she actually lives opposite us, she looks good for an 84 year old!
  22. Somewhere over the rainbow way up high!
  23. Just some tiddlers today, have started inspecting our woodlands and it looks like the next three months will be busy, loads of mature oaks ash and beech down, will take some pictures when it stops raining!
  24. A couple more
  25. I saw the damage when I drive north of Glasgow and the central belt in January, I just wanted to park up and get stuck in but my misses had to remind me we were on holiday!
