  1. Anyone on here visited or spent time in Canada, was looking to visit next year with wifey as somehow managed 25yrs together(can't shake her off) The place seems vast and narrowing the options seems difficult, can anyone recommend places to visit or stay. Not sure whether to organise our own trip or get someone else to manage it so I don't have the hassle:confused1:
  2. Just a baby that one, although a shredder not a chipper.
  3. A Beast is approx £1500-£1800 per day complete with loader & operator, diesel etc. bit cheaper for longer term hire.
  4. Still interesting, across the water every man and his dog has one. These are not cheap and I guess you need good contracts for such an investment, mind we are a few years behind here.
  5. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a8QYWR5Z3OE&feature=relmfu]Bandit 2290 Chipper. CAT 440. - YouTube[/ame] Interested???? This is our Bandit 2290 medium sized Whole Tree Chipper and I am interested in your thoughts to see if there is a market for these in the U.K. Does anybody run anything similar? Are these required in the U.K.?
  6. Cutting Edge, fantastic service with fantastic equipment.
  7. Eddie can I assume you do not need a specific sample size when shredded as the Hammel would only give a large particle size if it was a slow speed shredder. Was the Hammel tracked? I am surprised it blocked unless it was set up incorrectly. If you give further detas I may have some suggestions, PM me if you wish.
  8. http://http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QYBoNU2zE4U&feature=youtu.be It's an 18" screened drum chipper, currently towable and fits into the market somewhere inbetween the Heizohack & the Jenz.
  9. Like this one![ame=http://http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lRmTqyfe3jU]http://http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lRmTqyfe3jU[/ame]
  10. Sorry to hear your bad news Ian, seems to be on here nearly every week now.
  11. Ty, the 2250xp may be good for you. Same engine as your HB20 but self propelled and now available as a 29" machine.
  12. get 1, of these, saves you ragging yr body about, only 29" wide - Can we suggest you look at the Bandit HB20. We have a unit in stock and you are less than an hour away from Newark if you want to come and try it. It has a unique pivoting action and with over 40 units sold in the last year, plus a 5 year 'guts' warranty, its definitely worth looking at. Call Mark Jibson on 07730 000660 for more information.
  13. Were they genuine? If you tel Mark Pacey at Newark he can cross ref them with our stock & let you know what is correct. 01636594360.
  14. I'll come is there any cake
  15. Should be able to match these on dimensions alone.
  16. In my experience there seems to be a market for all price ranges & states of repair, alot of equipment now goes to eastern Europe. Bandit offer retro kits for all safety related aspects although these are not FOC. Of course machines can be sold as spares then none of this applies.
  17. We stock a number of these, call Mark in parts to see if he has a match on 01636594360.
  18. Harry gets pole position at Silverstone in the Motostar 125 by quarter of a second for tomorrow.
  19. Next week we will be going from East Yorkshire up to and around Edinburgh/Glasgow area with a 7" tracked chipper & a 45hp 4WD grinder. Anybody interested in having a go or just a look please let us know asap.
  20. Where do all these chippers end up? are they still working somewhere or are they stripped & sold or scrapped. I have lost count of how many have been stolen this year alone. Has anyone ever got one back?
  21. Thought you would like the red ,white & blue one Stu.
  22. Has anyone ever purchased or know of someone who has purchased a piece of kit that is not in std colours. Here are a few of ours.
  23. We have just had a Bandit 65xl 6" disc chipper reported stolen in High Wycombe last night from a customer. The chipper is 2009, Yellow and is distinctive in the fact that the fixed discharge has been chopped with a diamond shaped piece of steel added to change the angle. Don't think we will see it again but any help would be greatly appreciated.
  24. I was going to say how rude but it's probably true, but they do what they were built for.
  25. BANDIT, it will be nicely run in after 4 yrs.
