  1. £67,600+vat with same engine, winch & discharge. You cannot get the infeed conveyor on the 1590, infeed is 19 3/4x 20.5" against 20.5x 26". 21" drum v 37" diameter, you can go to 250hp on the 1890. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk mobile app
  2. Hi Eddie, this is our 1890HD drum chipper which is 19" capacity. The radio remote which is std controls the following functions: track forward/reverse, track left/right, discharge left/right, discharge delflector up/down, yoke up/down, track low/high, engine e-stop, and hydraulic winch if applicable). Price is easy as I sold one today, no blade or crane, winch kit & over the top discharge to load bulkers, rubber tracks, 5ft folding infeed conveyor =£89,000+vat Here's another we built.
  3. Was it this beauty?
  4. We have modified chippers before to hinge but not on this model, don't see a problem though.
  5. :thumbup1: Now there's an interesting project, you have my attention.
  6. No worries, I report everything back to Bandit no matter how small as you don't know world wide how many others are having the same issues. You were right about the discharge blockage though, Bandit said short discharge with long flipper, long discharge with short flipper but do not offer both long. we have retro fitted some with no problems.
  7. Can't win them all eh
  8. Neil Hodgson, James Toseland & Melanie Sykes, BT must be in the North of the Uk.
  9. Mel Sykes is a bonus though
  10. Here is the discharge & the rollers again, been available since Sept 13, Ian your demo was over 4 months ago. The demo machine at the time was an earlier model but the only one available then, all machines with these mods are std build & all parts are in stock to retrofit if required.
  11. Let me clear this up one more time, we now fit as std a 22" long flipper so no mess. The rollers turn slower for two reasons, one they are a much larger diameter than most so they turn at half the speed. The engine has a turbo designed to cope with being bogged down where most competitors don't fit one, the infeed is 7x12, if other chippers had an infeed of this size they would stall, double the material going in. If you are not happy with the auto feed adjustments it can be adjusted to suit your preference. We have new shallow curved rollers also fitted as std now. Hope this clears any confusion. 12. Is that a Bandit then?
  13. This is for Seven hours of which you must sit Five sessions, mine is very local to me at Silk Willoughby with a company called Willimott Logistics & Training Solutions Ltd, 07557309883. Helpful chap.
  14. This is a pain & a way of extracting further money, my advice would be to do the course & be safe. After September that's all VOSA will be interested in not your driving licence, they will target people with trailers & 7.5 Tonne trucks as they know we will be the ones without training. I am sitting mine at £35 per session but prices will rocket as more people become aware. What inconvenience will it be to your business if they stop you operating? 15. Yours are the offset teeth, I can supply the straight shank but not offset. I can also get any teeth sharpened & retipped including greenteeth.
  16. That would be Ben, now about Three buildings from us, we have now kept them busy full time for the last year.
  17. I thought genuine Multitip were approx £10ea but I thought the Carlton teeth were unique to Carlton due to the offset mounting, thought these were approx £13-15ea.
  18. Amazing how nobody sees anything, sounds like someone knew you was away?
  19. Is that genuine or non genuine teeth at that price?
  20. Just to keep you all informed we are moving to new premises located approx 14 miles from our current depot in Newark, we had outgrown our current premises over a year ago so due to on going expansion we have decided to relocate. The new address will be: UNITS 5&7 RUSTON ROAD, GRANTHAM, LINCOLNSHIRE, NG31 9SW. We basically outgrew all areas of our business, staff has near doubled & our business grew 120% from the previous year. The new premises will have Three separate buildings for Sales , Service & Parts + we have gained Two new Franchises, One being the Multitek range of wood processors. I have attached a few pics below, if any numbers etc change I will publish here as we go along.
  21. This subject would be easily solved if the boiler manufacturers made their boilers to suit the chip that is produced not vice versa. Most biomass chippers people cannot afford, we have sold our std chippers to supply boilers but the next customer says it must be 100% or the augers will block:confused1: In my experience no Two enquiries are the same, the biomass chippers produce a large amount of fines which causes poor burn quality but no one wants to screen the product afterwards, what to do:001_rolleyes:
  22. I have hired large high speed shredders out last year for this, the stumps have had to be ground down to approx 30mm down to put back into the ground. Even a slowspeed shredder that will shred down to 120-300mm was not suitable. This being said I do not know the legislation just what the customer told me he needed.
  23. I think I have the only ones in the uk, I should eBay them. When I delivered a grinder the other week the customer took my own coat so I don't have one now! Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk mobile app
  24. Now we've upted the game!
  25. This particular spec is approx £135K but we will be offering a good deal to the first taker. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk mobile app
